Some suggestions and discussions and (fruitless) speculations until Mortal Kombat X is released.
Aquaman
- increase trait cool down from 12 seconds to 18 seconds
- second hit of b+1,2 no longer hits behind Aquaman
Bane
- increase recovery frames on a whiffed back breaker command throw by double the frames
Flash
- increase damage scaling of all trait combos to result in 40%-45% of damage
Martian Manhunter
- overhead teleport requires one bar of super meter to perform
- increase trait cool down to 12 seconds
+ regular orb remains on the screen longer for 60 frames (i.e., one full second)
Sinestro
- trait charges in 2.5 seconds
+ decrease start up on final shackles by a couple of frames
Zod
- only one ball of the same speed may be on the screen simultaneously
- command throw in trait no longer grabs opponent after Zod gets hit
+ force push is fully invincible on wake up
Balance changes for mid and low tier characters. Not a complete list.
Black Adam
+ pre-patch hitbox on regular and MB lightning strike
Catwoman
+ Cat dash is fully invincible on wake up
+ low whip recovery decreased by 28 frames on block. Same recovery on whiff.
Scorpion
+ MB teleport is -5 on block
+ flip kick is -5 on block
+ b+2 is -5 on block
+ second hit of b+1,2 hits all crouching opponents. -5 on block.
+ pre-patch hitboxes on all jumping attacks
Shazam
+ b+2,3 is -5 on block
Zatanna
- increase trait cool down to 8 seconds
+ remains in trait unless hit by an attack
+ improve hitbox on d+2

Aquaman: Meh, the trait cooldown is fine but you don't see too much of B1,2 hitting behind in tournament for it to be considered a need for nerf.
Bane: Sure, he's not really a need for nerf in general I suppose.
Flash: Still a lot and it wouldn't really change his gameplay in general like something like a frame data change would.
Martian Manhunter: Hell you could decrease Martian's trait cooldown to 18 seconds too, but if you think for a second leaving orbs out for an entire minute is sane you need to lay off the mushrooms.
Sinestro: Seems fine.
Zod: A fully invincible safe wakeup? Could mean trouble....but it's less trouble than iazb destroying a character to the brink of making the matchup unwinnable and Zod probably does need some sort of way to get up so sure whatever.
Black Adam: Uh, nah. If he should get something pre-patch back I'd be prepared to give him his backdash.
Catwoman: As fair as it probably is, making low whip -5 is completely unnecessary. There's a reason it has such long range, it's supposed to be used that way. Cat dash being invincible on wakeup is fine.
Scorpion: Why change B1,2 to -5 when you can just block confirm into flipkick which is now -5 anyway? Just give him a damage boost, maybe not prepatch hitbox jump attacks but better hitbox jump attacks anyway, maybe a faster spear and give his "6 frame" moves slightly improved hitboxes.
Shazam: I'd be ok with that.
Zatanna: No need to increase her trait cooldown in my opinion, she's fine.
But, why in the name of Zod can't anyone suggest decent nerfs for Batgirl?! First it was increasing the recovery frames on her dash because of a 32 frame sequence and now this:
Batgirl
- MB smoke bomb no longer provides a juggle state
- increase start up on trait by double the frames
+ severely increase the chip damage of all attacks in trait
Your suggestions for balancing Batgirl are to
A. Change the properties of one of her least damaging options into vortex in the first place so that it just does a bit more damage but still puts the opponent full screen rendering the point of doing the teleport completely useless,
B. Increase the startup on her rarely used 36 frame trait to over a full second of startup,
C. Increase the chip damage on her seldom utilised trait even though it already increases her chip damage tenfold.
Great.
Forget F23, forget cartwheel, forget flying bat, forget bola, forget making her B1 or B2 slower or more punishable...
Changing her trait and, instead of changing the actual thing creating the vortex, changing the properties of one of her plethora of ways of starting the vortex to render it pointless are the most important things to help the balance of both Batgirl and the game.
Perfect? Fair? Unfair? Too biased? Foolish? Apologize now?
In general? Meh. The Batgirl stuff? Apologize now.
PS. Increasing the chip damage her trait causes substantially
might actually change up the way Batgirl is played ever so slightly but I don't see it having a great effect overall to be honest.
