Netherrealm has come a long from 2008, when they were owned by Midway; WB owns Mortal Kombat and DC, so it's no longer a problem. And the last MK sold millions; so there's always that incentive. Pop relevance for DC and MK is at an all-time high right now.

If there's no DC character in this first round of DLC, it should come on the second; Bats vs Supes is coming, but more importantly; the Suicide Squad.
Joker may be cool and all, but the 'sacred cow' status he gets in the comics is HIGHLY annoying. We all want to see the Joker crowbar fatality that's older than MK itself. Shang Tsung copied his vs fatality in MK9. Joker would sell obscene DLC numbers all by himself; just like Freddy and Scorpion did.

I'm not the only one that wants to slice and dice a DC villain with the MK cast. And most of the A-list DC villains already have their basic attacks and animations from Injustice; it's just a matter of fine-tuning the variations.

Just imagine Solomon Grundy crushing heads like grapes while he bleeds black swamp goop; glorious!

How hype would it be to have Riddick in the game and be voiced by Vin himself, ESPECIALLY with all the unique intro dialogue. It would be so perfect.

Grundy would be awesome! Im already most interested in Ferra Torr only because he/she reminds me of Grundy's playstyle lol So YES! GRUNDY FTW!

I don't know if Mortal Kombat is ready for Riddick. He's just too awesome.

His variations would be nuts.

• Most Wanted variation could be for the hand to hand badassery from Escape from Butcher Bay through Chronicles of Riddick.
  
• Lord Marshal variation could be the fully armored necromonger style Riddick.
• Animal Instinct variation for the blood thirsty Furyan animal Riddick. The Riddick without a thing left to care about.

MK just ain't ready for all that.

Although I like Riddick as character (especially his first Pitch Black appearance), I'd sacrifice all Riddicks in the world for Predator. Even very idea of Preddy in MK X made me watch every single Pred and AvP movie again. So hyped. I love this ugly mo' fo'.
