So Boon just tweeted this:

This looks like Ermac's fatality that was teased in the reveal trailer. However, @Shark Tank noticed that it's Subby's alternate costume, and looks like it is. Compare it to this picture from the reveal, when Sub-Zero is at roughly the same position:

Apart from the bare skin you can see from Subby's back/front, you can also see that the arms are different.

What do you think?

Yeah its a hard call there...I think its hair mostly because of how it appears to taper to the neck and the MK ninjas never have the one piece lucha type mask...its always hood piece/mouth piece...

So if he has the scar, the one with the mask is either bi han. Or Kuai resurrected again. Hopefully it's both. Either way, it has to be one of the brothers.

Could be Bi Han with a MK3 alt for dlc for fun...with or without a new voice over and quotes...
Could be we were shown the Alt in the first place and it really is Kuai story wise...
or could be a Nightwing deal where they are both in and both are Sub for parts of the story with separate everything as alts and share the same character...

Kuai did have a scar and Bi-Han didn't. Seeing that alternate costume makes me believe it could be Kuai. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm more inclined to just think it's a fan-service alternate for Kuai Liang enthusiasts. Bi-Han has never been unmasked and I don't think they'll start now.

Well their have been small hints in the comic Bi Han & Kuai are back to normal & one of them is wearing the MK3 costume plus got the scar from Kano.
