[Jan 26] Mortal Monday! Tournament in Pittsburgh PA

Last Bastion of Arcades
First of our MK, KI, and arcade cabinet weeklies. Please show your support for our new venue, and of course for the tri-state NRS community.

Games for this weekly will be Injustice, Killer Instinct (Xbone), Mortal Kombat 9, and UMK3. (On Arcade cabinet)

Top 3 get payout at 70/20/10, top 5 get ranking points. At the end of 12 weeks top 3 overall for the season will get special prizes. Included in the Venue fee are casuals on our monitors and arcade cabs, as well as access to our huge console library and classic arcade collection.

Each game entered is $5 for the pot. Venue fee is $7.50. Entering all four games is $27.50 and fills you with a warm glow of knowing you supported the NRS community.

10 players per game minimum for the game to run. So get folks out! I wanna see some "Real Soviet" brackets!

Also be on time. This is my business, I run on EST not tournament standard. :p

Of course. You're welcome to bring your own sticks and pads, although we have quite a few ourselves, but I understand the love a special joystick.

Also I wasn't sure if there was a tournament standard console for NRS games. We have the PS3/Xbox 360 revs of MK9, and all three versions of Injustice. I recall Forever King mentioning that the PS4 version has different timing and certain juggles don't work.

If there's a superior version of each I'll run those. Just let me know. I recall having played both the X360 and PS3 in locals on both Injustice and MK9

most places run on 360, but for IGAU you need to be connected online for the hotfixes or some shit. somebody will correct me if im wrong.

im on my work computer so maybe its blocked, but i dont see a time or location...?
i havnt played any of these games in a while but if im free maybe ill stop if its close
nvm pulled it up on my phone and invited some more players who may be into it

I beg to differ, I literally cant perform some combos and set ups on the PS3 version of Injustice that I can do on the PS4, which is my preference.

I don't play on stick, just the dual shock 4, I absolutely hate the directional pad on the 360 and I can deal with Dual shock 3, If Injustice is held on another system other than the PS4 would it be okay to bring my max cronus so that I may be able to use my Dual shock 4, other than ps3 because than I would just need a wired connection. Also what is the date of the tournaments for injustice?
