As for Rain I suspect he'll make some sort of appearance in the game, I mean if "am da bess loo kahngh watch 4 da scshshcshcchshcscaowleennnn *neck snaps*" Kung Lao is in the game then anyone can be in. Especially considering Rain didn't get much to say in MK9, they could easily give him more action in MKX.

If we get 2 reveals they would still have trailers of the characters, gameplay footage, information/firstlook at those menu changes and possible other stuff they could announce on stream later this month. Its not like the magazin gave us all the informations about the character possible.

KL vs Goro would make sense.

Also as far as story goes, KL being alive makes sense. KL himself was just a reincarnation of The Great KL, so its fully possible he just popped back up in classic MK style.

And, of course, KL vs Goro is a marquee match-up as far as lore is concerned.

I'd laugh my ass off so hard if they said you have to buy the first issue of the MK X comics for a character reveal each month til it hits haha. But I know WB and NRS would never do that. Of course someone would just post it online anyway...

KL coming back calling it now one of the 4 possibilities:

1. Raiden brought him back some how.

2. Elder Gods brought him back(if they wanted they could easily)

3. Quan-Chi brought him back via his sorcery and being a necromancer...

4. Something to do with the ancient Kung Lao spirit possessed/revived Kung Lao in MK 9 that died back to the realm of the living(brought him back to life)

I dont see why we wouldn't. Gamesmaster magazine is a Brittish/Scottish magazine while Pelaaja is a Finnish magazine, and the two have no relation from what I understand. I, for one, expect a new character tomorrow

The Finnish magazine did mention a visit to the studios, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't fly in people from just one magazine at a time. There must've been a lot of press there at once. Also the cover of the UK magazine says "Online uncovered!" which was exactly what was covered in Pelaaja as well.

Boon is also making very "subtle" hints at Kung Lao on Twitter right now, he's trying to ease the disappointment that will be tomorrow's reveal lol.
