I'm also about an hour out. In Bremerton.

Out of curiosity, what times and is there a approximate skill level? I might be able to bring myself playing shang and another playing smoke.
But either of us have anyone else to play against, so I am unsure of where the relative skill levels would add up.

NVM asking about time, just double checked and it seems 8pm on the top post.

One more question also; Is there a door charge or something along those lines?

Skill level is a difficult thing to assess. Almost all of us are good with our characters. Not East coast good but not far off from west coast good.

Also there is no door charge. No charge for renting equipment either. Food and drink can be expensive depending on how fancy your taste is.

These weekly Mortal Kombat meets are absolutely FREE! For a price, food and drink is readily available. If you're having trouble finding anyone else that has showed up to a Weekly Kombat, just look through all of the screens and see who's playing MK, or start up a game of your own (I'm at least always there )! AFK Tavern holds only a single XBox 360 copy of MK, and their number of PS3 pads is scarce as well. Come prepared and hope to see you there!

As far as improving I would say more rushdown. I didn't realize it until my brother commented on how relieved he was that nobody was rushing him down (since has a hard time dealing with it) that nobody was rushing down and just trying to zone or play footsies.
