EGP: SoCal Wednesday Night Kombat? Absolutely!

Okay guys, Wednesday Night Fights might not have MK for us due to the space at Super Arcade, and believe me... there's almost no space for Marvel and even Super, I was there yesterday... lol

I was talking to Brian, and I'm happy to say that he is very generous to give MK Players a home on Wednesday. I think Wednesday is the best day to do this, since we used to gather on this same day every week for so long. And for those who go to WNF every week, its not that long of a drive to get there. This upcoming Wednesday, we are getting together at EGP for MK practice only. This will be the first of many, and a test to see how many dedicated tournament players we actually have.

After the success of our first true meetup, we will most likely be running weekly tournaments. All of this of course, will be worked out somehow, but for right now, the important part is showing up and getting together.

We will also have a stream soon. I'll update this thread with details.

For those who play multiple games, show up at Frank and Son for some MK, the two venues are not far apart, so it makes it convenient for those who used to go to WNF for MK and other games.

Remember, our first meetup will be this upcoming Wednesday. Find a carpool, call your friends and lets make this happen!

I really hope this has a good turn out.. I've been picking up Street Fighter only just so that when no one really shows up I have something to do...

lol that's a really good decision at this point considering how the turn outs have been in so cal. Hopefully that'll change soon, especially with this weekly at EGP. Plus it never hurts to know how to play another fighter anyways.

I think thats when they start setting up for the SFIV tourneys, but we weren't able to start playing until around 6:45. I'd say thats closer to the starting time unless Brian told you otherwise.

For those who are skeptical about attending this, I was playing with some of the best players around last night getting advice from Krayzie and some real good players. I highly recommend we make this a weekly meeting for leveling up.

We are going to have extra setups, so I'm assuming 4:00pm sounds good. I'll talk to Brian about it.

And for sure man, I'll try and help as many players as I can.

No fees for next week, just some good times and mortal kombat!

You can donate though. Brian has been nice enough to give the MK-Community a home.

I live 5 minutes from Franks. So This Wed Sep 14. What time is everyone showing up? I'm assuming this is in the gaming area right?

Just as a reminder to everyone. EGP will be this week.

Bring your local players down and carpool if you can. The more layers the better!

Crud. At this rate, I won't make it until after dinner. Still, if you guys are there till 9, I can still get a few games in even if I show up later.
