Please don't turn this into another Bio-Broly movie. I will seriously quit DBZ for life if it turns out to be garbage. Also, why couldn't they have Broly become resurrected? I mean, they could have just given his backstory after dying on planet Vegeta by Frieza and having only one person know of him being the LSS. I think if they had it setup where if Frieza were to die that his henchmen would wish Broly back, but as an Adult in the present time. Just to make him Canon. He is by far the greatest enemy to Goku...next to Beerus of course.

I was talking to a friend about this the other day. I expressed concern for how they were going to make Frieza as powerful (if not more) than Beerus. Even at the end of Battle of Gods, it was still quite clear that Goku wasn't stronger than him.

Well, my buddy said he heard speculation (he wasn't able to cite a source, however) that Frieza steals Beerus' power or something, hence the strange liquid we briefly see him coming out of.

That's the ONLY thing I can think of that would put him on the same level of power as Goku or him being more powerful.

Frieza's return is quite obviously going to be coming from being wished back because there's no other way he could come back if they're making this canon as Trunks destroyed him completely.

Either way, I hope they do ONE thing that they did with Battle of Gods and that's make this movie have the same humor that Battle of Gods had. The humor made up for the lack of overall action throughout the movie, so it would be nice to see plenty of humor AND action all in one.

I just hope they don't screw this up. Outside of Cell, I feel that Frieza was one of the best villains in the Dragonball universe.

While I wouldn't say it's a troll post, I would have to agree with Jer apparently not wanting him to return. They kinda played Broly out and he's gone and it should stay that way. Frieza's made one return (two with this movie) and Broly's been brought back twice after his first appearance, one which was handled piss poorly. Bio Broly was just stupid and wasn't needed.

I love Broly and his potential to be the most powerful son of a bitch ever, but I'd like to see what they're going to do with Frieza instead.

Well, I mean he did what he could to "succeed" i guess. Plus he was like the first big DBZ villain idk nostalgia I guess. Broly is really cool don't get me wrong, but like @Eldriken said, they really played him out

Not even marginally hype and I love Dragonball Z lol. Frieza is on his what, third return? Returned in original DBZ and got bodied by Future Trunks. Appeared in Dragonball GT with Cell in his resurrected state and now he's returning again for dat name cash in #ByeFelicia.

We all need to remember that Broly wasn't canon. None of the movies were. Frieza did make a brief return in Fusion Reborn. However he got rocked by Gohan with one hit, but it's not Canon.

You had mentioned that you and your buddy were talking about how Goku wasn't strong enough to beat Beerus. I think that he retains some of the SSG powers from BOG when he blew up Beerus' kill ball. You see Goku turn SSG to destroy the ball and then he reverts back to base form.

I'm glad she is coming back. He was one of the coolest villains, she's probably one of my favorites tbh. He was ruthless and didn't give a shyte about anything but being more powerful. She's a badass.

He's awesome!

who is beerus ive never heard of him is he from gt ? i have not watched that one yet
