Why? Sorry, i don't get the whole streaming thing. I mean no disrespect.
I'll give you just a few of the many many reasons to stream, especially a new character in a new game
1. Someone learning the game can learn by watching guys that compete in it, play others. It's a great way to level up know only your game but your knowledge of it.
2. Someone not playing the game can stumble upon it, like it, and say "hey, I might try that" thus building the community which is what this is all about.

4. It's a way of others to critique you live which is something that cannot be done any other way outside of an actual meetup. Which is very unique.
5. Helps with nerves. Us tournament players know what nerves can be in a tournament setting. Streaming with viewers believe it or not can actually give you nerves, the willingness to want to perform and succeed. I know I get nervous streaming long sets with great players, simply cause I want to friggin win.

7. Great way to just chat with your friends, can be as simple as that as well.
