@Tzu @kabelfritz btw what exactly is the legal status of MK9 in Germany? Is it still illegal? And how exactly illegal is it lol? Will I go to jail if somehow "the authorities" see me play? What's up with it?

haven't played mk9 in ages and never got past training wheels in injustice, but that's mostly bc i don't like playing online and never had offline competition.

anyhow, i'm generally interested in a friendly fatal gettogether.

oh and @Braindead, i'm not 100% positive about the exact legal status of mk9 in Germany, but i think unless you sell it to people, or maybe show it to minors publicly, you should be fine.

1. build a scene
2. buy mk x next year
3. join the next major VanDammage (local tourney) in vienna. We usually have some guests from east europe as well.

not 100% sure. initially it was not released here, but allowed to be sold as import without being advertised or shown in a shop. so if you had it hidden under the desk in your shop and someone came and asked you about MK, you were allowed to sell it. but i think they changed it to "ban". but i dont think there is any punishment for playing it, you may also import it by yourself, but it may not be sold or shown in public here at all.

I was going to send an email to the dorm where I live asking who plays MK but I don't think I'm going to do that anymore lol.

Hey, I've been following TYM for at least a year now, but I only recently registered.

I would love to participate in some offline events in Germany if you guys are up for it after the MKX release.

I have seen some of you guys are from Dusseldorf, Cologne and Aachen - I live/study in Bochum which is basically 1 / 1.5 / 2 hours away from these cities!

Hey Guys,

Lets do a MKX offline session.

My friend @Rey and i are from Bonn (very close to cologne) and we both play MKX on PS4.

We are very hype for this game and hope that we can establish a little offline scene in our neighborhood.

We dont have space for more than 4 competitors but its good enough for a start to play some games.

PM me for further planning.


To all other non NRW german or even european MK players, please invite us to tournaments of any kind. We are happy to travel, when there are many other Mortal Kombat Fans.

Hey guys, I live in the south of the Netherlands (Roermond), so I might be able to make it out to some meet ups ;-) @Braindead We should definitely get in touch, my man. Always good to see another one of my American brethren!

Btw: are you all on X1 or PS4? I'm on both, but I'll probably be spending most of my time on PS4.
