New heroes for MKX

Heroes are lame.

Everyone hates the heroes in mk other than Johnny cage because hes actually funny. No one likes liu kang or sonya and raiden is even kind of a lame "hero" (especially in mk9 where he is a complete dumbass). Now lets look at the bad guys:
shang tsung-badass sorcerer who steals souls

Ermac-badass grouping of Evil souls

noob-badass blacked-out ninja resurrected in the netherrealm

quan chi-badass woolaying sorcerer who manipulates everyone to do his bidding.

Sub and scorp have been both villains and heroes but they are way more awesome as villains.

Heroes are lame
1. Ermac is not evil, his controllers are, hence why he becomes good after breaking free of them in the original timeline.
2. Sub-Zero has never been a villain, Sub 1 was neutral and Sub 2 was pure good.
3. Raiden wasn't a dumbass, he was given shitty and vague instructions and tried to make the most of them, and he eventually did and successfully prevented Armageddon from happening.
4. Did you really just say everyone hates four beloved characters? How? What could have possibly led you to this thought? Yeah some people dislike some characters but all three of those are fan favorites and staples of the series.

IDK but Fujin should probably replace Raidens useless ass.
And do what? Raiden actually prevented to destruction of all the realms at the hands of Shao Kahn.

Yeah he had some fuck ups along the way, but to be fair he had to go off the vaguest message from his half dead future self in the first place.

It'd be like getting into a car crash because your brakes stopped working and going back in time to tell yourself "Check them" without specifying what you actually need to check.

I'm all up for new heroes, as long as Raiden is the Leader and Subzero is helping subtly.
Man, the MK storyline has so many antiheroes and strong figures who just override the actual protagonists. Love it!

According to who?

Besides Johnny is a better character than Sonya, I hope he makes it in and she doesn't if it really came down to it.

I think Johnny makes a better protagonist than Liu Kang, honestly.
Well Im sure they didnt have the kid in wedlock. I mean Sonya seems very classy  and I doubt they would change the canon of her name

Dude I dont like Liu or Johnny.
How can you say Sub 1 was not bad when he is a known bad guy.
Raiden is a dumbass for giving himself a cryptic message. He got lucky and prevented Armageddon at the last possible second which resulted in the death of countless warriors

Don't be one of those people, don't be one of those people where when someone says "some people" or "a few" or "not everyone" you say how you don't do that specific thing even though the person you responded to purposely used words to convey that not everyone in entirety fits into said category.

I explicitly stated:
Yeah some people dislike some characters.
Sub-Zero 1, not Noob Saibot, was neutral. He had never done anything evil, he wasn't a good guy, but he never did anything actually evil. Look it up yourself if you're not convinced.

Name one evil thing Sub-Zero 1 did as Sub-Zero.

Listen, if you've been being beaten within an inch of your life my a man that literally has the power and strength to destroy every universe in existence, and is quite literally about to smash your head in with a hammer, you do not at all have the time or the mental fortitude to send a complex series of instructions back in time.

You see how he only had time, after chanting the incantation, to say two words before getting his head smashed in by a hammer, swung by super god Shao Kahn.

That ain't cryptic, that's a "i'm about to get my head smashed in and my mind is kind of fucked because i've been being bitch slapped for a good couple of minutes by a man with super strength" level of message.

He still had time to say let Shao win. Also I still am part of the others that still dislike those charactets no matter how you break it down. Heroes are lame, the antagonist are always better

1. How is "Let Shao win" any less confusing? Without a why, a where, or a how, this doesn't really add to anything.

In fact this could have lead to a an even worse scenario than what happened, if he actively prevented Liu Kang from stopping Shao Kahn when he first appears in the story and Liu punches a hole in his chest after Kahn killed Lao, then Kahn would have probably went on and killed everyone else anyway without Sindel, including Liu Kang because Raiden would be forced to "Let Shao win" he would stop Liu from punching a hole in Kahn.

That wasn't even remotely close to have anything to do with anything I was ever talking about.

I was answering someone else but I guess it got added to my last reply
Also Raiden should know himself, either way he got many people killed due to his ignorance

Mortal
It would be cool if there was a new hero for MKX. A good one too, not Shujinko that was a total shmuck in Deception. Raiden should revert to his MK1 days where him winning the tournament means our world's final destruction and shit.

And Liu Kang would be the one dead warrior from MK9 that comes back...as the one that thinks he could do what Raiden does only better. So Evil Liu Kang: I'm the one winning these tournaments and you guys can't even wipe your own asses kind of mentality.

If you're told by your future self to let someone you barely know anything about(besides them being super evil) win, "knowing yourself" won't allow you to know exactly which battle you should let them win.

"Let Shao win" is worse than "he must win" because Raiden runs into Shao Kahn fightings the heroes more than once, so again, how would he possibly know not to let Shao win the first time, after he snaps Kung Lao's neck and starts fighting Liu Kang, which is the very first fight Raiden sees Kahn having in regards to the plot.

I see that you're trying to make a point here, but you've just said something that would have lead to something worse than what you suggested.

And how can you be mad that some people died because he had a vague goal when the entire point of the goal was to stop literally everybody from dying in Armageddon.

Which he was successful in doing.
Raiden actually totally and canonically saved all of the realms.
