ALTERNATE COSTUMES - YES/NO?

So I was thinking whether there will be alternate costumes for MKX or not, since every character now has three different variations with each of those having very slight cosmetic changes.

- Do you think NRS will still add different alt costumes per character despite their different variations? Or maybe it's too complicated now with all these different versions of fighters?
I really hope that they will add it and I wish it to be really challenging/worth the effort to unlock, unlike it was in MK9.

Please, dont spell it kharacter. I know its mK but there are limits. Furthermore it reminds me of Khrome. Uuuuggh...
On topic Im almost sure that they will add some costumes.

it would definitely be possible to add alternate costumes, it would be great because with some characters the visual changes are hardly noticeable. At the end of the day it will always say what variation you're playing on the top of the screen so there wont be any confusion. also I want to see some crossover style costumes like hulk Goro or injustice version of scorpion's costume.

They can't do hulk goro without worrying about a lawsuit so unless you mod things that's out of the question

Actually, Boon already confirmed in an interview that there will be alternate costumes for sure. He mentioned that they were thinking about linking each variation to a seperate costume but later decided they didn't want to limit the players choice to one costume for the variation used so they added the small differences instead (grand master medallion, frozen arms, ice mask)

Thanks for clarification @Demon_0. Now Im sure that alt costumes will be in. However I wonder if this time around we will get more costumes per character then we got in MK9 (1 or two at most).

1 in game, the rest by dlc. We can only hope the spread is not as lopsided as Injustice.

Yeah, brood mother is hood off, swarm queen is hood on, and venemous is extra slimey. She's about the most dramatically changed (well, I guess Ferra being physically off Torr in one is more dramatic) but they still aren't real alts.
