TorontoTopTiers and A&C Games team up!
As A&C has opened up their A&C World, a casual place to play old school, new, arcade and console gaming, alot of players have enjoyed the light and casual yet competitive atmosphere.
As a continuous sponsor for our tournaments, We continue to team up with them in more ways!
Starting Wednesday August 24th, 2011 and then every Wednesday after that, we will be holding casuals for Mortal Kombat. A&C World is a very casual place to play and we want the lightest atmosphere for any casual player to have fun and at the same time level up their game.
Location
$5 for the whole day
3pm to 8~9pm(depending on the number of players)
Equipment
Please bring your own controller if possible. There are a lot of systems in there but not enough controllers.
Games Available For Play
Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition – (360 or PS3)
Marvel Vs Capcom 3 – (360 or PS3)
Street Fighter 3: Third Strike – - (PS2, 360 or PS3)
Mortal Kombat – (PS3)
Tekken 6 – (Ps3)
Soul Calibur IV – (Ps3)
BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2 – (Ps3)
TopTier Lesson Initiative
This will be a pilot program for new or “want to improve” players.
Want to learn how to be good at the game you play? How about a session with a Top Tier player?
Let me know and we can certainly make this happen. The goal is to make you aware of your mistakes plus educate you of how to do things correctly. Pick a game and we will find you a corner to help you improve your game.
After your one on one session, try out your new found skills against the casual gamers.
You can only improve from here on out.
TorontoTopTiers Stream
We plan to stream our casuals on a Bi-Weekly basis, streaming ranbats or mini tournaments with prizes. So be sure to come out and build up some rep!
The stream may just consist of SSFIV or MvC3. Sorry guys but for a local scene, MK does not bring viewers we need. From time to time, it will be good to stream it.
Can't Make It Wednesday?
You should cause it will be hype but if you can't you can go to Azure's Dojang on Thursdays. You can continue to get some high level play over there on thursdays.
