Personalized taunts during the match

So we all know there's multiple Personalised intro dialogue based on character relationships. Now many would just skip the intro so you never get to see how both fighters spoke to each other. Keep the intros but add Personalized taunts (not as cunt scenes) that are cancellable like Street Fighter 4 series during the match. As in Scorpion saying one thing to Sub-Zero during a fight, and something else to Quan Chi in another.

I for one would enjoy in-fight dialogue more than anything.

More than just "GET OVER HERE" at least.

I want to be beating Scorpion's ass with Sub-Zero, having him throw out witty one-liners and ice puns along the way.

"This combo is cooler than your dead family when you held them in your arms after they were brutally murdered by NOT ME, because dead people are cold!".


Maybe not that cheesy or specific but, a "Undead filth!" or "Even a god falls before my might" or "FUCK YOU KANO!" would suffice.

Btw do NRS developers come on this site often? I saw one when they were talking about practice mode but that's it.

Dude, cancellable taunts is the best thing about the Street Fighter 4 series.


That's the most legit trolling in fighting games, with some really gimmicky shit in Tekken being the only exception.

Especially with Balrog, you can charge his projectile(and some other attacks) invincible turn punch by inputing the taunt command and holding the buttons.

Nothing sweeter killing an opponent with that when you're both below 20%, they think you're wide open while you're taunting and throw out a fireball, then WHAM! right through, you catch 'em before they can recover from the animation.

Somewhat, colt's a dev and I think we have a few more who visit. Kind of how shit got fixed super quick in Injustice, someone could just tag colt in a post so someone directly sees a bug\glitch. Also taboo to tag him in a post for stupid shit, fair warning

Yeah I like the random taunts in IGAU, I hope if MKx has 'em then all of the characters have unique random taunts with one another
