its been 17 months. lets solidify a top 5

a lot of players mention zod, mmh, am, and bg frequently for top 5 spots, but who is the last piece of the puzzle? is it bane, bm, dd? or perhaps another? lets discuss and see if we can finally agree after all this time.

also, im aware this has been discussed before, but idc. this site needs more game talk and threads for it lately. im not looking to be the christopher columbus of thread creating.

I actually think Batman is. I don't play him but from what I've seen in tournaments, he only really struggles against Aquaman. Idk, he just seems like he can pretty much deal with the entire cast without too much trouble.

But, Bane can just do sooooo much f'd up stuff. Tough call.

Right now I'll say Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Zod, Batgirl, Superman. Or replace Superman with Sinestro/Bane.

Batman loses 4 matchups and only wins like 7 matchups, along with 20 even matchups. Also Batman doesn't have a single 7-3 matchup, all the matchups he wins are only 6-4. No way he is top 5, especially when you have characters like Flash and Bane and Wonder Woman and Sinestro who have less losing matchups and more winning matchups and a couple 7-3's here and there.

MMH/Zod/BG/Aqua are a lock. Pretty unanimous.

The last spot is interchangeable with Bane/Supes/Flash...maybe Sin too.

It's that last spot...and if I had to go with a definite pick, it'd be Bane.

The argument for Flash not being top 5 is that some people don't belive the matchup charts where he loses to no one.

Sinestro has more bad MUs than Batman...

Or does it? One of those very bad MU's is a character that isn't exactly difficult to learn and just about anybody with top 8 placing fundamentals can give the Sinestro player a very very hard time.

If there is one MU I would not want my character to have as 3-7 loosing it would be Aquaman.
