Which characters have thus far, won a major. I can only think of a few: Reptile, Johnny Cage, Kung Lao, Cyrax, and Kabal. Am I forgetting anyone?

Who do you guys think will be the next to win a major and why?

its impossible to predict tbh, all depends on who's there, if we're going by who we THINK will win im saying kung lao, purely for the amount of people using him he must have a fairly good chance, lol

Well we KNOW it's going to be Kung Lao. I'm was asking you to pick a character that hasn't already won. Please explain why though.

Of the characters that haven't won a major tournament yet, I feel like the next will be Kitana. There's usually a Kitana or two in the top 8 of these things, you got to figure sooner or later one of them will win the whole thing.

What major tournament has Johnny Cage won?

Well, KL will win and has won majority so far. PDP also, wasn't that considered a big tournament that Justin Wong won with KL.

I think KL will win most still since like someone else stated, he's always used often and that increases his chances on top of being powerful.

I just want to see someone else win for once other then KL, Reptile or Cage lol. Major or not. There are other characters capable of winning and going far, but nobody wants to use them or can't.

I disagree. Why do you think there was only 1 Kung Lao in the top 8 of Evo? Right now, I only see Perfect Legend as the only Lao player who could win or place at a tournament (and maybe Classy Sasquatch if he puts some more work in).

I counted SVB in London. Mustard and AFG showed so much talent, I couldn't just discount the win. Plus, wasnt that the biggest event Europe has seen yet?


What tournament was it that Tom Brady won as Johnny Cage against Perfect Legend? That's why I counted JC...Or am I whistling Dixie out my ass?


Also, I agree with Kitana possibly being the next character to win. She's a monster.

Even though Reptile only won one and Kung Lao won 3 there's probably been more Reptile's in top 8 than KL's. It has to be close.

Kitana is a good bet. She's made top 8 at the last 4.

Tom Brady won powerup with Johnny Cage and Noob Saibot. He didn't use Sub in grand finals but sub got him to grand finals. And of course the usual Reptile, Kung Lao, and Kabal. What tourny did a Cyrax player win?
