Tailgates & Tan-lines !
I knew this was coming.
I knew this was coming.
The lack of basic grasp of laws of physics is astounding. That guy dropping the huge bin full of water on that girl's head was epic. If you pause right as it hits her head it literally looks like it decapitated her. (I don't wish harm on her, but damn was it funny to watch)
Edit: It's actually in here.
(PS I don't dislike the challenge and do understand it is also for awareness)
Proof it brings awareness. You now know what als is.Not to be a hater, but does this really raise awareness? I didn't know that ALS was Lou Gehrigh's (spellcheck) disease until I looked it up, I've just seen a lot of people doing a really lame test of courage
True, but a good charity doesn't go "we are raising awareness for AWG-KP, AOSIS and CACAM, WOOOOOOOOO" and leave it at that, ya know?Proof it brings awareness. You now know what als is.
If an event that brings awareness and raises $15.6 million bloody dollars (9 times more in the same amount of time that they usually do) is not the definition of a good charity then holy shit, I really want to hear what your standards for a good charity is.True, but a good charity doesn't go "we are raising awareness for AWG-KP, AOSIS and CACAM, WOOOOOOOOO" and leave it at that, ya know?
Didn't know any money was raised either. All I've seen are trendy people pouring water on their heads. I'll modify that statement to say it could be more informative. If an event that brings awareness and raises $15.6 million bloody dollars (9 times more in the same amount of time that they usually do) is not the definition of a good charity then holy shit, I really want to hear what your standards for a good charity is.
A cynical person might suggest that the only way to get people to donate money is to give them a way to make it about that person as we have become such a narcissistic society. Can someone explain to me what dumping water on your head has to do with ALS?
Right... they don't want attention so they do this and post the video on their facebook page.LOL man, if anything the people who are doing this have no need for attention.

raising awareness. for example... you didnt know what als was until all of this happened and you decided to look it up.Not to be a hater, but does this really raise awareness? I didn't know that ALS was Lou Gehrigh's (spellcheck) disease until I looked it up, I've just seen a lot of people doing a really lame test of courage
