Last man standing will be a woman!
After a year's worth of hype, downplaying, upsets, salt and pop offs the last man standing was indeed a woman as PPJ's Hawkgirl wins GBS 52, capping off the first year of our local and the end of season 4. PPJ also used Shazam and Raven to capture his 7th GBS win, defeating last week's champion Saucy Jack and myself while also double eliminating 187Muscles in his first round of the tournament and grand finals.
This week saw the debut of Greece's N1k0lass, who also uses Catwoman. In his first GBS he defeated Fill Pops but then barely lost the first ever Catwoman mirror at GBS to me. Fur was flying in this epic cat fight that must be seen.
Harley loyalist McCutty Mayhem decided to try his Shazam in tournament against 187Muscles, who had earlier declared that he was free to Shazam. This worked against Bane but Muscles was eager to push his gimmick of only playing advantage matchups and countered young Billy with Green Lantern. McCutty had the victory in the bag until an incredible pixel comeback from Muscles. You can't be mad, he's just doing his job.
Next week begins year 2 and season 5. Over the past few weeks we've lost many regulars but new blood is ready to take their place. It's exciting times at GBS. Big thanks to all the regular viewers who've supported us throughout the year. Let's keep up the hype.
