Who will be left untested mkx/mk9

I have vowed to use and main lord raiden in mkx. So I decided to pick him up in mk9. I went to the raiden discussion thread on the character selection. Although there was some good tech bye people I still fill like raiden was nver pushed to his full potential.

I have a filling in mkx ( my opinion ) that he might be played almost the same way. Give or take he has three different variations. If he happens to be played the same way. Will people drop him and move on.

I'm going to go a little off topic and talk about kabal and jax for a second.

Kabal was barley touched before anyone knew his true power. I know some characters could be played all day and still be low tier. But I still believe some characters haven't been tested fully.

Jax another character that no one picked up ( besides the die hard jax mains ) until someone came fourth with his true power. Just like kabal.

So the whole point about this thread is who do you think will be left untested in mkx. And who do you think will be hiding in the back before there true power comes fourth.

Yes.. I know Michaelangelo and OnlineTony won tournaments with Kabal in the early days...

And Tyrant put in work at the first EVO, only losing to REO both times.

For the most part, no, I don't think returning characters will play the same.

Usually, normal attacks and combo strings tend to change a lot.
We already saw the tweaked old special moves, and new ones as well.
There are obviously new characters with new movesets
There are interactables

And the most important part is that there are 3 variations of each character.

It's safe to say that no character will play the exactly the same. There may be a few similarities obviously because Scorpion for example still has his spear, teleport, etc. But even then they won't be the same. They work differently, frame data is different etc.
Hell, if Kitana makes MKX, you bet I'm going in the lab with her Day 1.

The reason jax didnt do anything in the beginning was because he was a trash character. He received tons of buffs that brought him from shit to decent.
