Especially when it's kabal.....I've done my fair share, albeit when I'm super drunk, but it really shows your dominance over someone else....so cheers to you, the mighty rage quitters, mine and reptiles next drink is for you OI!!!!!

I rage quit all the time. I've gotten so sick of fatalities that I'll quit immediately it goes into the little music and carry on.

Rage Quitters are hilarious, there was this one guy, (anonymous for now) had a decent record (bit over 2:1 with well over 2k wins) i saw his record and was like cool a decent player see if i can get some nice games in. First match was a sub mirror match, this guy did nothing but spam ice clone and ice balls and the only combo he did when he got the one chance to do it was b121, he knew nothing, then next match he played cyrax and again, not very familiar with the character, then the last game i forgot who he played, but i get a double flawless on him, he leaves at fatality screen sends me this message saying i was a pussy ice cloner. i just laughed, hard then turned off my xbox and went to sleep. then the next day i am watching this stream and i see the same guy playing against the streamer, does the exact same shit, so i guess i was the only one who called him out on it and man was he trying to cover himself up so bad "i no i dont do that" "i am a respectable player, i give credit where credit is due" no he doesn't

^^ This, fatalities are a waste of time and besides by that point the match is already over.

Like people who are playing the game didn't have 20 sec or so to spare. Rage quiting because of fatalities is incredibly stupid, the least you can do is wait for the actual end of the match end refuse a rematch. If the opponent likes to do fatalities and that bugs you, how about you start beating him? Damn, the guy just beat you, he has the right to watch 20s of surreal gore animations if he wants to.
Also, if it wasn't for this "Waste of time", there probably would never exist a MK2.

I do avoid it on ranked matches tho, but I don't get mad when i get fatalitied.

When someone ragequits on me I usually send them some variation of "Oh... baby. You ragequit soooo good. My pants get so tight just thinking about it... you just sitting on that couch, mashing and mashing and mashing to no avail. I love a big strong guy who can't handle losing. Omfg so sexy baby. Brb need towel."

Actually got a phone number once. That was interesting.

So don't lose so much. You just look like a douche quitting over a fatality. It takes a lot longer than 20 seconds to find a new player IME. So ya, I'll call it rage quitting as there's no logic to your excuse.

I dont mind if people do fatalities, I usually send a GG while they are doing them. If they are teabagging os stance switching then hell no im not going to stick around for that. Complete and utter waste of my time.

As far as ranked matches go, I'm the fastest rage quitter on the planet. I have that shit down to a science. It's instantaneous. Sometimes I may have still been able to win. It's just about getting on to the next one..some guys wanna dance/teabag/fatality and i understand that, i do it too, but it takes a while and when I'm playing ranked I'm just trying to get in as many games as possible before i gotta go to work or class or whatever. I do get tons of messages like "rage quitting pussy!" though which is kind of fun :)

I don't rage quit...if you lose it's on you (unless there's lag). Though I was surprised when I got my first rage quitter (Baraka player) when I first got the game. It was so awesome....he left at the beggining of the second round. I think there should be a trophy for that :D (btw did I mention I suck at this game :p)

I usually leave if they are attempting to do a fatality and keep jumping and shit. No thank you, takes up extra time. If they are t bagging and shit, I usually take the time to send them a msg saying "WHY?!" or something.

Last night I got a message saying that I should eat a lemon because I left.

since it takes for ever at finding another ranked match, i quit at fatality, waste of my time as i seen them all countless of times.
and i dont really care for losing whatever it is you lose if you quit lol

but what i will never do is quit mid match cus i am getting my ass wooped by these online warriors lol, thats stupid to me. i take my beating and go.
but yeah, you fatality and i quit, i see it as a waste of time.

I think everyone loses their cool from time to time. I've rage quit before, not that I'm proud to admit it. Usually once I cool off I apologize, but that doesn't make it any more acceptable. Sometimes the human factor gets lost when you're playing online.

Agreed. I'm against rage quitting and even made a LIST of rage quitters (it got too long to keep going)... but i've done it myself. I try to just take the fatality like a man, but when i'm playing someone in player matches and they beat my ass over and over and slice me up for a fatality every time, I may quit. I try not to because, it seems like every time I DO quit... I get a message right after from the guy I quit on that says like "Hey, I see you post on TYM". Happens. Every. Time.

I quit at the character select screen 5 times outta 10 when I do play online. I move the character select cursor around to see how laggy it is. If it feels sluggish I quit. Sometimes when I do this the opponent thinks I'm waiting for them to pick so I can counter pick, they go hidden and start trolling on the character select screen. When that happens I stop moving the cursor and leave it on Scorpion, make them wait until it auto selects and the match starts. When Shao Kahn says "Fight" I quit. Sometimes it feels ok at the character select screen and I proceed, but if theres any hint of input delay and I can't play properly I quit the match.
