Look on the map at all the fighting hotspots on the planet at the moment, who's fighting who and where people are moving troops about etc. You'll realise its World War 3, at least geographically.

I've been looking around at all the conflicts going on, and how they're linked, and the potential they have to cause shit storms amongst one another. (CBA to post what I've seen because its too long)

Whats everybody elses thoughts, to anybody else thats been keeping up to date?

Things to consider:

- Flight MH17 (Blown up on the 18th anniversary of a similar incident, and event crucial enough to draw international attention to Ukraine) and MH370
- Middle east, Gaza & Israel
- Chinese Seas
- Korea
- Africa

NATO are deploying troops to Poland, over 1.5 thousand. Thats right next to the Ukraine.
Russia are mobilizing troops on their boarders next to Ukraine.

All it'll take is for them to clash and it'll happen I think.

Also, no country in the UN has said that they'll take any action over what happened with flight MH17. Obama has kept pretty quiet over it too, anything he says has potential to make things worse really, he's kinda damned if he does damned if he dont.

But realisticly, if we do all fall into shit and WW3 does happen, ultimately it'll be the USAs fault. They've done pretty well to make themselves look like the good guy, but they've caused a vast amount of problems.

So everybody else is damned because of Murika.

Well when you spend significantly more on your military than the next highest spending (militarily) countries combined, it's only natural that countries seek your support.

ISIS are fighting a state basically started by and representing what the US stands for.
Israel are USA backed.
CIA are all about the middle east causing shit, going into Afghanistan as ground soldiers get sent home.
Demonizing Russia since they're falling away from the power of the dollar and going towards working with the Chinese. Look at their satellite pictures showing that Russians have shot missiles into Ukraine, theyre definitely not 'HD' like they say they are.
Libya, Somalia, Syria (to get close to Iran, one side backed by russians, other by USA)

It's possible. If I'm not mistaken, Russia shot down that plane. If they are on the paranoid that's not a good thing. They aren't a country to trifle with. Hopefully it'll settle down because yes, WW3 could happen but I honestly think that this will blow over, the mid east has been at it for the past decade. It just seems like it's getting a little worse in the past few months.

What does demonizing Russia have to do with what Ukraine's military and Russia-backed rebels are doing to each other? Ukraine is having an identity crisis because their general population and leadership can't seem to agree on whether they want closer ties to the European Union or not. I hope nobody missed the part where Russia decided to go and annex the Crimean peninsula because, well, it has the military power to do so.

The US has largely stayed out of this situation, though it's true that President Obama opposes the conflict and has made strongly-worded comments as a member of the Group 8 world leaders. Frankly, I'd be shocked if he didn't have some opinion on the matter. That does NOT equate to "US causes the problems." If you think it does, then maybe we should ask France or Germany or Britain or Italy or Japan or (gasp!) even Canada why they want to start World War III.
