Just so people know, you can pre-order the game on Amazon then proceed to cancel your order once you get the Beta keys. Amazon doesn't charge you until the game ships.

I played it on the PS4 and it was noticably better than the PS3 version and it is funny you bring up Boarderlands because that is the way I describe a lot of the mechanics...

Oh and to fully answer your question: Its mechanics are akin to Boarderlands (loot, open world questing, tic damage number generator on hit, and class specific traits/loot) but it plays/feels like Halo (much tighter controls and aiming than Boarderlands, way better AI, and the graphics...ohhhh the graphics, it shows off the capabilites better than any next gen game out) and it takes an aspect from Dead Space with the ability to break apart weapons and create new, superior ones.

All in all it felt like a very well put together game and will most likley be what holds me over until MKX figuring I already platnumed Infamous (the only worthwhile PS4 game atm)

Downloading, 3%, good night. Gonna edit my old post in a second here. If you're actively hunting for codes, just check out the top streamer for the game, chat monsters are hella helpful. You'll have to wade thru a couple trolls and old codes but you'll find that one golden nugget soon enough.

So, it's going to come down to RelaxedState and Mistah. Just wanted to make sure one of you didn't get one already before sending it.

Did you do that level 6 co-op raid type thing? Jesus Christ, it took forever!

The difficulty for this game is no joke. It's awesome considering most games hold your hand the whole way these days.

ye this game was not on my radar at all before i played the beta, wasnt a halo fan so didnt pay much attention to the press for it.
got given a code by my mate and will prob end up buying it come release now.

I hadn't watched much of anything, but figured since it was from Bungie and had kind of a Halo meets Borderlands feel to it, I'd give it a shot. Looks like I'll be out $60 once September 9th rolls around.

This game is going to shit on so many other games that come out before/after it. I am SO hooked.

that and little big planet 3 will hopefully tide me over until mkx.
still have to get a fudging ps4 arcade stick though :/
