Possible to use a keyboard on 360?

I've searched the Web only to find one ridiculously priced keyboard converter (it's like 150 bucks, which to me is absurd for a 5 dollar keyboard), granted it looks cool and futuristic. However I'm wondering if somebody knows a cheaper alternative, I've played mk9 and Injustice since day 1, but when they came out on PC, I just got so used to playing keyboard. Going back to those terrible Xbox pads seems like a nightmare at this point.

I'm with ya man. It's always saddened me how pathetic the PC port is multiplayer-wise - I wouldn't even touch IGAU on a console if the net code hadn't been so shitty.

I'm not too sure if IGAU supports it on a console - Xbox and PS3/4 allow a keyboard to be used to type and whatnot, but support for it varies by game.

I also do much, much better with a keyboard. I find myself rarely dropping combos or inputs, just because I grew up PC gaming.

What's your setup like?

I use:

WSAD - Movement
JIKL - Light/Medium/Heavy/Trait (respectively)
Space - Interactable
' (comma) - Meter Burn / Clash
Shift - Grab/Throw

Has always worked like a charm for me. I hope to God MKX has better net code, because I much rather prefer a keyboard.

My setup is arrow keys for movement, and numpad is like...

7 is 1

9 is 2

4 is 3

6 is 4

0 is MB

- is interact

+ is grab

Or something like that lol

Keyboard is actually very easy to learn, like anything else. I personally don't understand how people can play with fight sticks. I can manage with a D-Pad but I still drop inputs on some of the more difficult combos.

It took me maybe 2-3 days of solid play to get it down. I just changed it a few times until I found a config where every button could be reached. IE I always have my pinky on the ' button, and my other pinky can reach the Shift key for grabs, my thumb can reach the Spacebar key for interactables. Basically I don't ever have to move my hand.

I was just daydreaming today about how awesome this kind of setup would be. I wish it was easy to make this work on console.

Hopefully one day it'll be pretty much be universal to be able to use a mouse/keyboard or a controller on a console. Most PC games now support controllers, so it should be vice versa as well.

How did you set it up? My keyboard is connected to the ps3, but I don't know how to make it work for Injustice

Re-read my post. You can use it on the PS3 to browse the Internet and type messages - but keyboard support varies by the game, meaning the developers have to make the game to support it. And I'm 99% sure Injustice doesn't support keyboard usage on consoles.

But again, I'd take my keyboard over controllers any day of the week.
