It was not bad at all IMO I think it was a way for the players to just F*ck around and not be serious all the time since it is a competitive game. I just didnt like the one touch kill thing but everything else was fun. How would you feel if it were to return in MKX?

Lol the one I really liked is where you had to fight upside down, that was a trip.

I also liked how the meteor's fell from the sky so you had to move your character around and not just turtle, same thing goes for the Iceballs.

You know that gave NRS an Idea for Havik's character somewhat. If Havik were to be in MKX, since he likes to twist his body in akward positions, he can use his limbs as projectiles.The recovery should be quick and the distance should hit and not be half assed slow etc.

I did, but only if I got certain items. The ones that affect your ability to do combos were annoying as hell. Everything else was fun. I liked getting something that caused chaos like flames shooting up, ice and fire balls raining down, sektor's homing missle flying in at random times, and buffs/nerfs. Those were all fun, but the ones like disorientation, upside down kombat, and anything else that prevents me from inputting my combos, was freaking annoying and I usually just let the AI win those and hope for better items the next time.

I feel like it was a real shame that they didn't have an online version, even though shitty gamespy would have made in unplayable.


I'd like for it to make a return.

I enjoyed it. I had a concept that tried to do, but I was never able to get the right combinations. I wanted the freeze trait, meteor, sektor homing missile and hyper mode so I could do silly Kabal combos. Or freeze trait, meteor, sektor homing missile, and unlimited super meter for everyone else. I wasn't fond of the confusion where it mixed up your inputs and the one hit kill was just lame.

YES. I loved Test Your Luck for the random hilarity of pools with it. I know we all play serious here, but this mode at two conventions I've been to were all people would play MK for. It started drawing crowds due to how hilarious it was with folks losing limbs and playing with random screw jobs.

This was probably the most adored casual mode I've seen in a fighter by regular folks locally who hang out with me, but dont take any fighter serious.

For those of us who want crazy stuff do a Heroes and Heralds mode like UMVC3 tried...except with actual LOCAL MULTIPLAYER.
Test Your Luck is great.

Yes. It should have been part of the online multiplayer. Instead of using kombat kode both players test their luck. Would have been more fun.
