I don't play the game myself anymore, but my 6-year-old and 9-year-old love to play it, so I have to help them from time to time. I guess I'll never fully be able to get away from it. XD

There's absolutely no way I could pick a favorite. There are so many wonderful games from my childhood that I could play over and over.

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is one of my favorites.

It's pretty much impossible to pick 1 for me.
Also, the amount of love that Half-Life is receiving in this thread is just astonishingly low!

So for me:
  • Counter-Strike (1.6 and GO. Source was ok) Seriously, I've spent an insane amount of time playing these games.
  • Half-Life 1 & 2 + episodes
  • The Last of Us
  • Uncharted 2
  • Metal Gear Solid (Bought that game 4 times because my mom kept taking it away. Lived in Malaysia at the time so it only cost $1 and I was 9)
  • MK (Loved them all)
  • Halo 1 & 2
  • Dark Souls
  • Crash Bandicoot Series
I think that about does it.

Man...the original Counter-Strike ate up so much of my life. Holy crap.

One of my closest friends that I've known for the majority of my life still argues with me to this day because him and I disagree on which is better. He says 6 while I say 7.

From a competitive standpoint: de_cpl_strike AKA de_mirage

I loved iceworld as well though, spent a lot of time playing gungame on that map!
aim_usp was probably my favorite aim/dm map though

I think 7 wins too hands down. When I had the game downloaded on my ps3, I had over 90 hours of game play on it. That game never gets old for me

Same here. I've beaten it at least 100 times (not even exaggerating) because it never gets old. The fastest I can beat it is in like 24 hours. Got it down to a damn science. =P

I'll just do a top 5 like everyone else lot of number 2's on this list can't really think of a number 3 in any series that I like a lot. Also I've always been a Bioware fan.
