How much would "One More Patch" mean?

If walk speed was 60% faster no one would have to get nerfed or buffed. Understand that the top tier characters are top because they exploit and work outside of the engine. The top tiers are top because to get close to them you have to expose your self by dashing or jumping even if you take your time and walk to them they can just get to the other side and make you chase them again and having 10 miles Lin stages make it worst sigh I don't wanna bring this up but I told paulo this would happen and man I was so right. All top tier characters play lame and make you chase them am I wrong? Again give characters legs and feet cause right now they move move like they are crippled. If paulo fixed batgirl inf I'm sure it's pretty easy to buff the overall walk speed of the game do that if it happens I'll make inj my main game again.

From all the things NRS has learned from these past two games how could we NOT want to drop Injustice for MKX?

The only reason I honestly gave Injustice a chance was because it was an improved version of Mk9's fighting engine even though it was drastically different in other things.

So far MkX looks like the game we've all been waiting for. Injustice is just inevitably that ex-girlfriend that you got relationship experience from leading up to your trophy wife.

I feel like it would help people like me keep the motivation to keep playing. But I definitely don't think it would bring back 128+ man brackets. 1.06 didn't bring us back to day 1 numbers, and this won't bring us back to NEC numbers unfortunately. It would definitely help keep it alive until MKX though.

I'm gonna say it again like I said it when I tested and pig and other tested can back me up on this. The injustice engine is WAYY better than mk9 the core engine the game HAS the potential to be one of the best figthing games ever made these words came out of my mouth when I was testing. The things holding the game back is movement, intractables specially those that otg and the down back/forward input bug fix those 3 things and you have an amazing game leave those in then well ya know how I feel about the game currently so I don't have to repeat myself and game flamed for it. I would proudly play both MKX and inj if those things are fixed right now I have zero interest in the game besides playing bane.

I think it would at least reinvigorate my local. Its down to three people consistently showing up, and they aren't always the same three. We always had twenty until December.

My biggest pet peeve is the corners in this game, aside from the combo-drop/cross-up/wakeup-reversal stuff, which is absurd, its just that no matter how hard I'm holding back people can still jump 3 themselves into the corner behind me. Fix the corners and I'll never stop playing this game. I still love it either way but it is hard to love sometimes.

my cyborg buff would be make all his strings uninteruptable to compensate for lack of mid screen dmg and combo potential. have two hits of armor on grapple hook the 2nd hit of armor will be when he is going up. His techno tackle changed to mid also allow him to tic throw after certain strings or normals. allow him to meter burn power fist on block for for frame advantage enough to use b2 for block string mix ups.

@CD jr has it right guys. No minor buffs or nerfs will ultimately solve the balance issues. Its the game engine itself with how characters with safe ranged normals/specials and a reliable anti air will be waaaaay better than the rest of the cast at the highest level.

I honestly just don't see the game changing its walkspeed so late though. Its too drastic to happen so late. If it DID happen and you could actually whiff punish normals with any character then the game would really shine though.

I think every character has at least an even matchup so there is no Kabal and there is no Kenshi who 8-2s half the cast.

As others have said, it wouldn't fix the games core issues, and people would still find reasons to complain.
Walk speed would not get touched, lots of characters would still have crappy normals, and mids that wiff, and all kinds of other annoying and tiny issues.

It would never bring the game back to life, but it would slow it's death.
To be honest, just the gesture of supporting the game with another patch this far along would mean more then the actual contents of it's patch.

how would you like if the NRS gods gave you back the unclashable trait combos, air grab(mb) gives the same set ups walking corpse(MB).

I don't know if I would play it again, it's too based on running away and throwing shit.

And like Jr said, you can't even get in on anyone and when you do you've lost half your first bar and they have meter. This is a ton of the match ups in a nut shell.

Unseeable projectiles and ground tracking moves that cost no meter are fuckin dumb as well.

Power to the people that play it and enjoy it, I feel sad for the people that play it but don't actually enjoy it.
