What I'm trying to say is that the music in MK9 and Injustice absolutely fucking sucked. I get why it was the way it was. It was so that it would fit to the overall atmosphere of the setting - of the universe, but when it comes to an actual match it was boring as fuck and the volume was way too low.

I know that we're probably already past a point, where something could change to the better when it comes to Mortal Kombat X, but don't even try saying that it's still too early to say how the music in MKX will be. You know and I know that it will be boring and unhype, something that should never apply for a fighting game.

GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER @colt ... WE WANT BETTER MUSIC IN YOUR GAME! WE WANT FAST, TECHNOY, METALY MUSIC like you could hear it in the Mortal Kombat movies.

I'm not even a fan of techno music, but the soundtrack to Mortal Kombat, especially Reptile's Theme, was just so bloody awesome

No, i'm talking about the in game music, its actually darker and gritty, it feels like you're actually playing mk and not watching a stupid holllywood movie like in igau and mk9.
Dan forden has done a remarkable job this time, just wait a bit more, i think they will give us something to hear without voice and battle effects real soon.

I loved the MK9 soundtrack.

I fucking hated that none of those songs were actually in the game.

Johnny Cage's theme was so fucking godlike:

Fits him perfectly, that cocky yet dark 80's-90's action movie vibe, with some sexy ass techno and bass drops.

Then you got Liu Kang's theme, which was just a fucking masterpiece:
