Fraudulent Wowo and the One Armed Bandit Take MTL

Thanks to everyone who showed up this Sunday to participate in the first Injustice + MK dual RanBat. It's a bit sloppy since I'm the worst organizer in history but, I feel like I learned enough to not suck next time and we all still had a great time so that's great! Next time we'll definitely not do both tournaments at the same time. We'll do Injustice and then Mortal Kombat. Hopefully have two set ups at the same time as well.

The point system I'm using is kind of random right now. With Top 3 getting points since we didn't get more than like 10 people to show. It's basically 1st place gets points = to number of people who showed up. 2nd gets a fraction of that and then 3rd gets and even smaller fraction. This might and will probably change if Jer thought up a better idea.

Mortal Kombat
This was one interesting RanBat. We had a few guys give MK a shot which was great even though they were pretty green to it. @hard_goodbye tried to KNEE it out with Cage and @Mortal Komhat tried to steal some souls with Shang. However the real story of Mortal Kombat was @Chuckychuck powering through a wrist injury to not only play but to win the whole thing taking out @T.roll 3 - 2 in Winner's Finals

Loser's Finals also showed @CanadianBaconX finally forsake the Scream Queen, realizing that his "garbage" character couldn't muster must against the all mighty Knee. Unfortunately spamming slides with Skarlet and constant wake-up Up Balls with Kano were no match for the Mr. Hollywood. When it all looked hopeless, from the crowd, #CoachCharlie suggested Sektor to possibly solve Bacon's character crisis. Luckily for Bacon, #CoachCharlie is always right allowing for him to take a game with the Red Robot but, the dream only lasted one game as Bacon dropping a game winning combo and threw out a yolo iaTeleportPunch to throw away the set giving T.Roll the 3 - 1 win.

Grand Finals showed that Charlie's fundamentals and Reptile's funky hitbox was too much for T.Roll to handle. Kabal, Cage and even Jax weren't able to get the job done as basically a one armed man wins Mortal Kombat with a 3-0, showing how free everyone in Montreal is at MK if they aren't @zaf or @Jer

Injustice
On the super hero side of the ball, what should have been a great tournament filled with hype and shenanigans turned into a fraudulent set up by the bracket running Bacon, who not only used the "Shuffle Teams" button to "Randomly" rig the brackets in his favour but, intentionally (Though not really) prolonged the matches till one of the strongest players @xQUANTUMx had to leave. This allowed Bacon to get to play only one match and get 2 byes all the way to Grand Finals.

In the Losers bracket Hard_Goodbye showed that his DSL internet brain downloads a bit slowly but, when it's done... IT'S DONE! Coming back from back to back 0 - 2 deficit to come back and take it all with his Catwoman. He looked prime to take the whole tournament especially when reaching Bacon in Grand Finals, taking the first game and blowing up the only tool Bacon's Wonder Woman had... Wake Up Spin!

Sadly, Wowo's constant jumping and general fraudulent play was too much for Hard_Goodbye to handle as Bacon took the set and the RanBat with a 3 - 2.
