I asume al 3 might not make it in first roster but as DLC most likely. Skarlet as new char has big chance imo.

Word, I also main Smoke hope he makes it back for MKX in human form but I doubt it. However they might give him the robot treatment in which case I hope he doesn't play like shit.

I can see Kenshi being in as fan favourite and all, and his powers being more diverse than Ermac's, and Rain/Tanya used for Edenia story advancement given that other Edenian characters are dead. Skarlet was kind of bland, bringing almost nothing new in terms of looks (unless you play on PS Vita), story, or powers (Nitara tossed blood at opponent before her, plus it's not like MK suffered from lack of blood even before appearance of these characters).

But I see Skarlet as a staple DLC character of MK

I would love to see them part of the story and the game!

They should though. Those characters had no part in the story mode and they deserve to be in the sequel.

And while I would VERY much like to see Rain playable, I'm pretty sure he'll get the knife seeing as NRS keeps leaving him behind.

Also to everyone saying the characters have little relevance to the plot... you know how the story mode is going to play out? Please enlighten the rest of us. Enlighten us how a character that already has a fanbase, has no story relevance compared to someone like Cassie Cage, Kotal Kahn, D'vorah and Ferra/Torr. Because those guys sure are iconic

all of them fit in MKX storyline, but, all depends what NRS and Ed Boon have planned for this new game, in a story wise way .... in the end any of them can end as a last minute DLC in the game ....

Personally, I cheer for at least Skarlet be in the game, and by preference , making part of the initial roster .... if not, so make her some DLC option then

I don't mean Skarlet to be like Bleez apperance wise, I mean she can have some of red lantern moves, which are very eye-catching and would fit with Skarlet's moves.
