Superhero games that look and play like the Arkham Series

Im a fan of Batman but I've been wondering about this for awhile, I was wondering if Rocksteady was thinking about making other superhero games that have the same graphics, mechanics, playstyle etc. as the Arkham series. Like they can make a legit Superman game that looks like if you were playing an Arkham game, would you buy it? Me personally they should make an X-Men game that looks and feels like an Arkham game, which they can start with Wolverine or Deadpool or something or a Spawn game too. Would you still play it? or you would say "Nah its just a copy, fuck that shit"

Play Monster Hunter!
Rocksteady is owned by Warner Brothers, so they will probably never make an X-men game.

There is an off brand Captain America game made by some random studio that has similar combat.

Anyway, Wolverine Origins the video game has way more fun combat then any Batman game, though it is a bit repetitive.

I would love if they could do that and I WANT it it to be a re-skinned Arkham game! But as mentioned above it's almost impossible to happen under the current circumstances. But we can dream, right?

Damn, the last X-Men adventure game I played was on the SNES. X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse which was pretty cool and fun. After that I just stopped buying them for some reason. Same thing for Spider-Man. Well at least they can Still make a Spawn game if they wanted to, shit even Dredd if they have the Ideas for it.

I don't want a Superman game to play like a Batman game. I want a game about Superman to focus on doing super stuff, not detective stuff like Batman does

The Arkham games seemed fine to me, except on Origins which I havent played personally but I heard its the worst of the series.

When I said played like an Batman game I meant when you play it it feels like an Arkaham game but he doesnt necessarily have to be like Batman doing detective stuff.

i hope they make a flash game next!
If they do they are gonna have to make it so when flash runs it doesn't make the person dizzy when playing it. I felt dizzy when I was playing Spiderman 2 on the PS2 where you are trying to kill Mysterio on as the Statue of Liberty.

I can confirm this. The game is so broken, rushed and just unfinished. *Mini spoiler* On the rooftop with bane, he would teleport and grapple me from opposite sides of the area even if I was running. The dialog doesn't match the sub titles 100%. When you interrogate a criminal sometimes batman doesn't let go of the criminal and the camera stays in the position with bats saying nothing. I hopped over a wall and went to land on a criminal and batman could walk freely but couldn't attack, jump, do anything but walk and the criminal would just look and not attack me. The game is so disappointing, and the story is far too short. Rant over.

Damn, smh I only have both Asylum and Arkham city. I can't wait for Arkham Knight though.

Don't let me discourage you, it's still a pretty fun game to play. The issues are sort of minor but they bother me, nobody else though :L asylum and city are awesome, I other will be awesome too because it'll be made by the people who made the first two games... Unlike Origins.

Green Arrow game anyone? It would play out similarity to Arkham games (stealth, detective work), however the focus of the combat within the game needs to be projectile-based, as opposed to close quarters.

arkham city has a smoother battle animation(correct positioning on takedowns) compared to arkham origins. but origins is still very good IMO. played through it twice. played it on PC. I'm not sure if I played on release date but I didn't have much issue with my first play through. just on the 2nd one where a cutscene would not activate for me to go on.

i agree. I want to feel like superman or flash or whoever in a game about them, that's what's so great about the Arkham games. You actually feel like batman

What I really want from Rocksteady as an evolution to this series is something like a legitimate Justice League game with roughly the same engine as the Arkham series but evolved to work with what I am proposing.

It would be awesome if they had a character switching system similar to Grand Theft Auto V with branching and inter-twining missions amongst characters and group missions (similar to heists) that require using all Superheroes simultaneously.

The world map would have inter-connected cities (ie: Gotham City (Arkham City)/Star City/Central City/Metropolis/Atlantis).

The playable heroes I would like in this game: Batman, Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Wonder-Woman

That would be fucking epic, but I think they are gonna make individual superhero games before doing that.
