ps3 cant challenge anyone?

Why i cant challenge anyone,session has been failed,i got something like that,after last patch its pretty impossible to play and challenge someone

I notice that last night. I just DL the latest update and now I can't challenge anyone in rooms, ranked, or player match.

I've noticed that Ranked and Player matchmaking does not apparently work on PS3 anymore. At least for me anyways.

Yeah it's hella messed up. I got on for the first time in a while and played one game of ranked. Then found nobody for the next half hour and wasn't able to challenge anyone in the lobbies :(

I had an issue downloading the patch on PS3 so i had to delete the cache and got the patch and still had issues. I then deleted it once more re-downloaded it and now i have no problems. if you join a room / lobby (Chaosrealm etc.) the new servers seem to take a few seconds to give you everyones status like : whos available , vs , tag or KOH. Once it the ball turns green (and like i said it takes a few seconds maybe a minute depending on your connection) you can then challenge people. I believe people still have issues with what ever the PS3 verision of open nat is (like xbox live). But i don't know much about what ports to foward etc and these new servers may cause more of an issue with games if peoples routers aren't set up correctly.

EDIT: also i played a few games early this morning connection seems a bit better but then again i am on a very good connection (FIOS 153mbs down 80+mbrs up).

try cleaning your systems cache / removing the update and redownloading the update. becareful you don't delete your save in error but it may fix some issues. I know it fixed mine (haven't been able to play since the patch came out till this morning after @Mikemetroid suggested i clean my systems cache. Thanks also sir it helped :)

Same here, I also tried to delete cache and reinstall a few times but same old. I can enter the room and challenge 1 person (doesn't matter if they accept or decline) after that first challenge it keeps saying game session not available. Strange thing is, if I keep staying in the room, other people can still challenge me. It's so frustrating!!!

im not sure if there is a definite fix for the people experiencing this issue, (im one of them) but my buddy (who is also having this problem) told me he signed into my PSN account on his PS3 and had no problem at all. maybe switching accounts can resolve everyones issue, i havent tried this yet and it doesnt make much sense, but apparently it works

In my case this didn't help either.. Same problem still happening.. But it was worth the try

It's really strange that I get one chance to challenge someone if i enter the room and after that, I can challenge no one anymore, it will always say the game session is not available.. So it does work and than suddenly it won't, where is the logic in this?! I have send a few emails to netherrealm but they don't reply offcourse., hopefully they can solve this in time, but I doubt it now mkx is the hot topic. If anyone else has any other options to try, feel free to share

It still works. Your online must be fucked up. I'm playing right now. I do not get many players matching with me compared to before. And on the leader-boards it says my best streak is 1 even though I haven't lost once (got one DC loss).
