Game of thrones (major spoilers) tragic flaws and "the children"

So something i think i noticed with game of thrones is that each character seems to have an tragic flaw that could be or is their tragic downfall. Whether it is a good or bad trait (morally) it is their inevitable weakness. George R.R. Martin seems to punish people for not being purely and perfectly rational, for having a conscience or being angry. For having a weakness. I have only read as far as the show. But i have some thoughts

People Who have big flaws that I think /could will be their downfall:
Daenerys: Her pride is very strong, she is rash and emotional, could come back to bite her (also her lust for power, which almost everyone has)
Petyr Baelish: I thought petyr was the best candidate to "win" the game because he was so purely rational and deceitful, but i think his lust for sansa, to recreate Catelyn will be his downfall. Also lust for Power
Stannis: Lust for power, to the poiunt where he does evil sorcery and commits fratricide
Jaime: lust for Cersei, incest, thats it, if he gets rid of her he's a golden candidate to come out strong
Brienne: Honor, she's a ned stark level of honorable
Cersei: Spite, possessiveness
Ramsay: Desire for approval, violence/cruelty
Arya: Desire for vengeance
Tommen: Innocence/compassion
Margaery: Lust for power
Theon: Lust for power/desire approval already basically killed him

People who have small flaws i don't think are downfall worthy:
Tyrion: His size, and his pride caused him to almost get executed, but they are only arised under drastic circumstances
Jon Snow: He has the same honor as a ned stark, but he has broken honor before and seems to be pretty logical, his goodness is his flaw but he isn't the same archetype as brienne or ned, he's more dirty
Lord Varys: Desire to serve realm/desire to be treacherous, he seems to enjoy playing with the game but he doesn't have any flaws in common with other people
Sansa: She's already been punished severly for wishful thinking and dreaminess, she seems to be quite the survivor at this point

Already Dead people's flaws:
Eddard Stark: Honor/Morals
Lysa: Insanity possessiveness crazy love for petyr
Shae: manipulate people's emotions, she is manipulative and insincere, this is the root cause of her death
Tywin: hatred for tyrion, or disgust with his own son, his mistreatment ends up being his downfall, his lack of compassion. It could alsoo be a product of the death of his wife who he loved. His desire for legacy turns people against him.
Oberynn: pride obviously
Ygritte: love for jon snow, literally in the show (not the book) causes her to halt and lose her guard and get killed, her decency is a downfall
Robb Stark: Love, had he not fallen in love and broken his vow their might be a different man on the iron throne.
Catelyn Stark: Being a crazy mother.
Robert Barathion: Gluttony and Alcholism, carelessness
Khal Drogo: Pride, always having to exert dominance caused the blade to cut him
Viserys Targaryen: Lust for Power
Renly Barathion: Lust for power, even against his own brother
Joffrey: Anger/Brutality/Abuse of power
Xaro (rich black dude from Qarth: Lust for power
The Mountain: Desire to be brutal

What the fuck are you talking about?
in my eyes the only reason stannis wants the throne is because he is the rightful king.
He is the only king with a legitimate claim to the Iron throne, if Robert had any legitimate kids he would be backing them up.
Stannis is the one true, he will serve justice no matter what.
It was great seeing him rape the wildlings, but I still felt bad half way into it

Seriously, he has no lust for power. Robert told him hold Dragonstone and because he's so committed to justice and honor, he held that, figuratively and literally. His problem is that he's just not a people person, and the whole "he'll break before he bends" sort of thing.

his dealings with melisandre, and the weird voodoo shadow that killed his brother, i'd call that lust for power. His involvement with meli and the lord of light are sketch. Wanting to seize the throne within its self is desire for power

Technically Stannis has no right to the Iron throne as long as a Targaryen is still alive, so no I would not say he is the "one true". Dany is the only one with a legitimate claim IMO. However, when this all ends I have my money on Jaime sitting on the throne.

Stannis will do what he must to serve justice.
Renly was trying to take the throne when he had to right to do so
Had renly been his older brother he would not have killed him because he would had been the rightful king.

I agree with your theory.
Dany isn't fit to rule, only reason she has a chance is because of her dragons which are out of control.
The one true king needs to ally with the martells and fuck that bitch up
Jaime? l0l
I could see Tyrion allyingwith the one true king in exchange for casterly Rock
