MKX taking hype from MLG and CEO???

Except you're completely off base there. Pretty sure 16bit posted several sub 60 entrant mlg mk9 events in the original injustice mlg thread when people were questioning prereg numbers. I think folks are looking at the mk9 era through extremely rose colored glasses.

maybe it was a flop at mlg, but it made the evo list 3 times.

As for the comment about liking and playing more than one game at a time... no, its not hard to do that, however, it is hard to like injustice.

I forgot mlg was next weekend, until someone mentioned it at Rapzillas tournament this weekend. I honestly don't care how it turns out, who wins, who gets blown up...nothing. Obviously I hope everyone who goes has a lot of fun, mlg is great! That said, mkx has poked a few holes in the remaining injustice tournaments, very similar to what injustice did to mk9 when it was announced.

Hopefully mkx is fun to play and the community is full of interesting personalities this time around.

What's wrong with being White and Republican? Funny though how in order for supporters of the NAACP to "Advance Colored People" the have to show, earn and give respect to the people who can give them jobs, education, and healthcare so they can Advance. As long as the NAACP exists they will never advance because the foundation and concept of that organization is black biased and racist by excluding Caucasians, Asians, Hispanics, Middle Easterners, ect. So don't even mention that racist organization in the same sentence as White, Hispanic, or Asian Republicans.

But did we forget we currently have a game that is incredibly adequate in Injustice and these next couple of weeks will be huge for the whole fighting scene?

MLG is next week and one of the largest tournaments, CEO, is in 2 weeks and NOBODY is talking about it.

Injustice and Killer Instinct is going to be in MLG next week, this is huge!!! And we are all talking about a game we can't play until next year.

The last thing NRS community needs is for commentators to talk a lot about MKX over the game being played, which I'm scared will happen.

Priorities are shot.

Can we get back on track here?

That's how hype MKX is. Just wait until it releases... tournament streams, hotel after hour streams, etc

Nothing. It was a metaphor. I was simply trying to point out that it should't shock people that a site that was created with Mortal Kombat "dna", so to speak, will be leaning towards to MK (more hype for a MK product). ;)

Injustice is not MK9, and simply because its not MK9 its a horrible game. a game that doesnt deserve a spotlight on this website. It is not MK9, MK9 is a perfect game, which is completely balanced (unlike injustice), has real footsies (unlike injustice) and is glitch/bug free (unlike injustice) it doesn't deserve hype. ~ General TYM consensus.

i agree with you tho, although i've been focusing on and playing a lot more street fighter, i do believe we should save some of this speculation until closer to the release date (people tryna come up with tournament rules already? lmao wtf)
