Doomsday best combos, NEW 2014!

Some of 1 bar stuff gets you a really good amount of damage yet I almost never see anyone do any of this stuff.

A lot of the one bar stuff is really execution heavy. Some of the wall bounce into b3 stuff has more than 1 just frame juggle and is really difficult to pull off in a match. For example, b3 after wall bounce is 1 frame. And that huge combo he did with wall bounce into stand 3 mb ES d2 b3, makes it really hard to connect anything after the j3. Which is why most of this stuff isn't used in tournament.

Me, Noobe, and Whiteboi all do combos very similar to these but I think all of us opt out for j2 though from what I've seen, it's a lot less stressful mid match.

But I am stealing some of his corner combos and bounce combos because they are very useful, and do a lot of damage. I really do like some of the set ups as well. All in all it's a great combo video with many practical uses as well.

Also most Doomsdays don't really mess with combos that end in venom or nova because hard knockdown is very important since Doomsday basically lives and dies by his set ups.

I know not all these combos are meant for tournament play, but their should be a bit of tech in there that people can still use.. I'm going to use Doomsday for the first time next weekend, should be fun!

Of course it requires a background bounce and a hard to land b3, but still.

The b3 isn't to bad on this stage, cos their is a bit more distance on the background bounce. I have the timing down pretty good. The 21d3~df3 MB after the j3 was the hard part. You need to catch them as high as you can when landing the 21d3, otherwise the MB venom misses. Imo, its viable but only on a few stages.

When I watch most Doomsdays play I feel like all they are thinking about is: "I NEED TO KEEP ALL MY METER FOR MB VENOM, THAT IS THE ONLY WAY I CAN HOPE TO WIN."

But I'm sure in a lot of cases the DD player could've ended a round with a 40-50% combo. But instead they settle for 15-20 because they feel like MB Venom is too important.

Also that last 48% for 1 bar combo is amazing and looks practical too. I don't know how difficult it is to pull off but it has corner carry on top of great damage for only 1 meter. I don't think the difficulty in execution is a good excuse anyway. I mean take half of their life and end in the corner? You would be a fool not to try and master such a great midscreen combo!

I could ride a unicycle to work, putting in hours and hours of balancing practice, endangering my own life as I traverse the perilous highway, and finally make it unscathed to my destination, raising my hands to the heavens in triumph, OR I can just fucking drive a car and get to my destination anyway without any needless lollygagging. Not to mention my life will be less at risk as vindictive, jealous motorists would most likely target me if I were to man the unicycle, reuniting me with the asphalt that I have scorned by doing so.

So you would only go for the 48% if it's going to kill? If you get a full jump in punish on someone at the start of a round (or when the combo isn't going to kill) what's the BnB that you guys normally go for?

I wouldn't do it only if it will kill. Perhaps I should have worded it better. If I'm on a stage near a BGB and I land a body splash, I'm going to go for maximum damage, which without meter, is like 37% mid screen with no wall carry. If I want maximum damage with wall carry, I omit the BGB after landing a body splash and it requires one bar of meter.

However, with this combo being shown, perhaps it will be better to land this combo and get the wall carry from it since it's more damaging and still requires only one bar of meter.

I guess it's just situational in regards to what I want to do. It also has a lot to do with what character I'm going against.
