Doomsday best combos, NEW 2014!

I found a few new combos with this guy. The highest being 54% at midscreen with no interactables. The video contains some of his best 1 bar combos as well as setups and high damage resets.

Honestly? It's not needed to win with him. I'm being serious. As plenty of people have witnessed, you don't have to do the less common combos that Doomsday is capable of in order to win. Standard mid screen combos that have good wall carry are all that he needs.

I know plenty of combos with Doomsday, but I don't really ever have to utilize them. The only time I really ever do a combo is in the corner and it's just to show that person that he does have combos.

hey tony good stuff have you tried messing with DD's df 3 stuff in the corner , cant remember who posted the tech but im fairly sure those lead to his highest corner damage
i think the tech is something like jid3 3 df2 MB, 3 df3 ~it can be comboed after

We don't need this nefangled 'combo' nonsense to complicate things. I could ride a unicycle to work, putting in hours and hours of balancing practice, endangering my own life as I traverse the perilous highway, and finally make it unscathed to my destination, raising my hands to the heavens in triumph, OR I can just fucking drive a car and get to my destination anyway without any needless lollygagging. Not to mention my life will be less at risk as vindictive, jealous motorists would most likely target me if I were to man the unicycle, reuniting me with the asphalt that I have scorned by doing so.

Also, remove the footage from 2:00-2:07 its racist.

The background bounce combos are an exception to what I said. I had to condition myself to use them whenever I could because I usually ignored them and they were free damage.

They were simply disgusting, noone will ever try to risk throwing a projectile or an unsafe move near those places.

I don't think it's possible to combo after Venom (df3) in any situation. I could be wrong, but it just doesn't seem possible, even in the corner.

If this isn't the case, please do let me know as I'd like to give it a shot.

Oh, that. Yeah, you have to make the first hit whiff. It might have potential, but I don't think I'll worry about it too much unless someone else fiddles with it and finds out some really gnarly stuff.

Yep ive managed to get it! Comboing after it though seems weird! But ill work on a combo for it tomorrow afternoon. I have to get to bed, almost 1 am here. Thanks for the link!

But lets say you have your opponent in the corner with around 50% life left and no clash. Why do so many Doomsday players continue Earthshaking and what not? Is it because it's tough to open someone up with DD? I feel like I see people hit body splash and then just do 3,3 or something. Why not launch into a 40%+ combo in the corner instead?

It might be a personal preference, but I prefer the HKD that Earth Shake causes. It allows me to play my corner game. Ending combos in (MB) Venom doesn't cause a HKD.

Say you do that 40% corner combo and your opponent gets out of your oki game and winds up winning? Was it worth it to do said combo but still lose?

You would have to ask others. If it was a guaranteed round ending combo, then sure, I'd be all for it. But if it wasn't, why take the risk?

Ok, the most i could get from it so far is 52%

The earth shaker doesn't push them high enough to connect more damaging strings. It was hard enough just to connect the 12~supa nova. Before that i had d1 into supa nova which did 51%
I think i could make it higher if i didnt have to start the combo with a f3. I tried starting the combo with df2~mb , but it just doesn't launch them high enough. I have an idea which im going to explore now. I might be able to bring it up.
