Neck Snap Tier?

Seeing so many threads about Hat Tier are making me realize something, good characters always have something in common, one pattern I found was characters who are decently good or better in MK9 had their necks snapped at some point in the series:

Cage during Annihilation
Liu Kang at the beginning of Deadly Alliance
Kung Lao during the story of MK9
and Smoke during the story of MK9

Anyone else have examples of characters whose necks were snapped or simply found a pattern of their own, post here!

What I noticed is in all the trailers its always. This: Grab arm, twist it and punch. Happens like 500 times. And how many times does Khan throw Raiden around? 17? I think 17.
