i hear often how some say its the most balanced fighter ever made and there are mostly just 6-4s and 4-6s all across the system when things are not 5-5. as the time grows on and we all get better accustomed to INJ how do you feel the balance of INJ is really? do you think its the most balanced fighter you ever played or do you think it is said prematurely by some? for me when im playing superman against some chars who are used well like mmh and zod i think the game is not "balanced" for me personally after much time of struggling vs these same problems i dont see hope in the tunnel anymore and it is just doomed fate for my hero. i think INJ could be made very blanaced with one last patch but that is all my opinion.
Its not so much balanced as loaded with options to equalize the field in the form of really powerful interactables.
Most balanced fighter ever made hands down goes to Capcom vs SNK 2 and its groove system. Character not good with the meter system you have on them? Turns out they were tooled to use a completely different groove and playing a character with different meter systems (or grooves as they were called) also changed their strategies.
Game was a masterpiece of balance and their were something lik 8 grooves to choose from meaning EVERYONE had a setup to make them solid. Runner up to that game? Not Injustice...likely King of Fighters XIII. Its Cancel system and HD gauge setup is masterfully done and while there is a top tier the gap between top and bottom is veeeery small compared to other games making the whole cast viable...just not often as attractive to play as other cast.
Injustice is diverse in its top 8 but its not really balanced so much as it isn't complicated and stages lend every character crazy damage. Hell MB B3 is a solid hit from any character and as much as people claim "well yeah but you give up your corner advantage which is more valuable" they are crazy because we see it all the time...generally followed up by that same player using the midscreen interactibles immediately after the transition.
Injustice has a ton of inbalance, but it has a ton of universal equalizers to mitigate the gap in the matchups making it a bit more level. Its fun, but honestly it didn't risk a lot. There isn't a ton of mobility to complicate its footsie game so it doesn't get as deep as some other titles even though its really fun to play and watch. Simple, but good and it has its own sort of balance...most balanced though? Not a chance.
