Friday the 13 reboot again?

Yeah, but the remake in 2009 sucked, imo. It was just a nod to the classic, cheesy, b style horror movies from the 80s. Those are all fine and dandy and i love that style, but I was wanting some serious ass ACTUALLY SCARY, brutal ass friday the 13th shit.

Hopefully that's what this is.

No the 2009 remake was not cinema gold by any means, actually were any of these movies cinema gold outside of the original, which didn't even feature Jason.

There is one reason why I actually did like the remake, which was that they tried to realistically explain why Jason is there and how come he is capable of killing everyone the way he does. Everyone forgets that Jason was a little deformed kid that drowned in the original and then pops back up as a full grown badass, yeah I'm confused too! The explanation in of the guy being a hunter that grew up in the woods, made a lick of sense and finally I didn't have to see what wacky way is Jason going to be resurrected this time. Seriously every movie involves the dude coming back form the dead in some strange way that by all means would never work anyway. I say skip this remake and finally do the Freddy Vs Jason sequel so many have been wondering about.

I loved Freddy as DLC.

As long as we get characters that everyone wants, I don't see the problem in having Jason in. Maybe even Freddy too.

I'm just trying to imagine how Jason would play. Maybe along the lines of Grundy? Some good armor and some good grapples.

Yeah, I think Jason would be a slow character since he is tall and maybe he would be like Grundy, since Jason does grab ppl alot in the movies and crushes their skull with his bare hands.

Yeah I never really got that, when he drowned in the water at that camp by those kids he was supposed to stay dead. I mean if you are dead you are DEAD you can grow up and be a full grwon adult.

Out of all the "slashers" I'm definitely a Jason guy. The last reboot was good. I don't get why they wanna reboot it AGAIN instead of moving forward. I dunno how many different times they want to show his origin. Kinda like superman movies. Always a reboot and always the same two villains, either zod or lex which gets old. Man of steel was very good though and I'm glad they are moving forward.

I agree they put the same villains in almost every movie they make and im lke "Ok I know they are the bad guys, but Superman has other bad guys too" smh

First off I want to mention I love that MKX is coming out and I'm outright pleased with that and that what I'm gonna say isn't a "before it even comes out request" just a simple back of my mind hope if they end up doing DLC and in turn like they did with MK9. To be "politically correct" and going by what boon said regarding "guest characters" I hope they'd end up putting Jason in lol. Just like I said in 9 regardless of how good/shitty he would have been I'd have used him alongside my main lol

Kinda Ironic how they put Freddy which was pretty good but since he is a guest character but kinda ironic how he is High Tier since he not a normal kombatant.
