I turned him into quite the salt factory the other day according to him, lol. Not trying to be a dick when I say that, however. He openly admitted that he's a salty player and hates Doomsday. XD

@Eldriken yeah that MU greatly sucks lol. I think we all get salty. I get extremely salty when something happens and it makes no sense why lol but definitely hit me up. I want to get them games in agaainst that doomsday. I've prepared myself for the online earth shaker :joker:

I remember how I felt reaching that top 100, I told everbody. Then, I pushed myself for top 50 and I think i'm like 48 on 1v1 now? Despite him being a DD, he actually knows what he's doing with the character and makes the right reads. @Vengeance135 he had me so mad that when he got me in the corner even tho I knew earthshaker dash reversed my wakeups I was just like fuck it and kept mashing acid. On a lighter note, maybe Joker's new godly wakeup tech will keep him from getting the ambigious crossup. :joker:

@Eldriken great games man I can't tell you how salty I was getting when I had super health lead and you made the doomsday comeback. I ran on pure salt for like 5 rounds before I chilled out and started making adjustments lol. We definitely gotta play again tonight

At least with the True Skill system on XBL you can somewhat gauge a person's skill. If they're at 36+, chances are, they're not going to be a slouch. I know True Skill doesn't mean much to many people, but when you're in the 36+ range, it's hard to stay there or make it go up.

but xbl is all based on wins too, trueskill is a somewhat accurate estimate of how good someone is though, you should be proud of having 37 skill more than being top 100 :)
ive never been even top 500 but ive mopped guys in the top 100 and sometimes they are high ranked but have more losses than wins :confused:
tldr: the ranking system sucks but youre really good and you play doomsday :D

I was getting "fueled" by salt ad well for a while, so don't worry. Joker's setups cause that, haha.

The folks who are in the top 100 that have a lot of wins and almost as many losses are only there because they play a lot. :p

Those who have good records and a high True Skill are the ones to watch out for.

exactly, i used to hunt for high ranked people to play and thats how i found out lol

Good shit @Eldriken proud of ya bud. U know, my goal was to hit atleast 38 true skill, cuz that seems to be where most of the high level true tournament players are. I hit it for 1 day and just gave up from there. Felt good af so I know how u must feel.

I agree. That's why I say that a high True Skill gives you somewhat of an idea how good someone is. Like I said, 36+ is the sweet spot to find good competition. Anything below is either an up and coming person or people who are sub par.

I don't think I've ever hit 38. I get to 37 and then get the train ran on me by people who are really, really good and give me a really hard time and it knocks me down to 36. >_<

The highest True Skill I've ever seen is 42 and that goes to @Rickyraws and he is no slouch at this game.

rank means nothing. you dont lose rank for losing.

and ranked match is even worse, im like 1000-200 in rank match and I usually just play around with side characters and text while im playing

Then explain to me how it's gone down after losing to people? It would be stupid for it to go DOWN for winning.

I've only ever had it decrease after losing to someone.

But you can feel free to leave the topic with your attitude, sir. This wasn't a topic to try and brag, I was just announcing to my fellow players that I achieved a personal goal of mine.

Wow congrats man. Well earned I'd say. I know the feeling of not having time/ a local scene, so online may be all one might have to get their injustice fix. If this is ever the case, having that as a benchmark or goal to strive for is a great motivator.

I personally only view my accomplishments online via how much hate mail I receive.

Ever since that one guy said he knew both karate and my home address, I knew I had come of age in this game.
