I wouldn't mind getting in on some of this battle action :p

I think there's one or two pokemon that I'm going to end up replacing, but I want to give my new (and first) squad a shot

so im doing the destiny knot method and such for breeding. But my Off spring is only getting 1-4 Perfect IV's. I kinda dont understand really. Its troublesome. And yes the ditto is 6IV. Why does breeding suck so much? :(

How many IVs does your other pokemon have?

Sweeeet. Getting on.

I have no idea. why?
Because 5 IVs are passed between BOTH parents, not just the one holding the destiny not. Like, The offspring might get Atk, Def and Speed from the Dad and HP and SpA from the Mom. So, next time you get a Pokemon with 4 IVs, swap it out with the non-Ditto to increase your odds.

Chart to make visualization easier:
Using HP/Atk/Def/SpA/SpD/Speed format

Pokemon A - x/x/x/x/x/x
Ditto - 31/31/31/31/31/31

Say that the offspring gets Atk, Def and Speed from Pokemon A and HP and SpA from the Ditto:

Offspring - 31/x/x/31/*random value*/x

BUT if Pokemon A had 4 perfect IVs and it was the same situation:

Pokemon A - x/31/31/31/x/31
Ditto - 31/31/31/31/31/31

Offspring - 31/31/31/31/*random value*/31

LMAO. I forgot you hacked all your pokemon. I was wondering why you didn't get how breeding worked :D

I actually like it though. It takes awhile, but I find the process to be quite relaxing

I understood how it worked. I didnt know that the IVs of the other pokemon mattered. Only thought the Ditto IV's Mattered. Thats why. I have breed a few pokemon. And didnt care about the IV's of the other pokemon. It just took really long to ge 5IV's that i wanted.

Are ya' ready for MK11 kids?!
Sup guys, I don't have X or Y but I will be getting into OR and AS which will obviously be following the 6th gen meta, I have some questions about the Fairy type.

1) Who are the biggest advocates of Fairy Type attacks? STAB doesn't necessarily matter to me.

2) Are they usually physical or special?

3) Was there ever an adequate trivial explaination as to why they're weak to Steel types other than balance?

3) Was there ever an adequate trivial explaination as to why they're weak to Steel types other than balance?

1) Sylveon hits like a truck with Hyper Voice and pixelate, but Clefairy can do some serious damage after boosting. Azumaril heats hard with huge power and Play Rough.

2) Most are Special, but there are a few Physical as well. Azumaril, Granbull, and Slurpuff come to mind.

3) They removed Steel's Dark resistance and gave it to Fairy. I think to keep Steel balanced and still defensive they gave it the fairy resistance. So it lost Dark, but gained Fairy. Fairy gained the dark resistance, but is weak to steal. Dark type got a huge boost this generation however with moves like knock off hitting Steels for great damage and removing their items.
