Um, not exactly. It's that sometimes you CAN'T do anything about the moves of said characters when you're in the corner.

What am I gonna do against Bane when he gets me in the corner and knocks me down as Doomsday? I'm gonna sit there and hope I block right until his Venom wears out.

Most of the Bane players I play regularly are really damn good and make it rather hard to stay out of the corner.

I don't even try to put Bane in the corner. I feel more comfortable with him at mid screen. >_>

I think the only characters that aren't scared as fuck when in the corner against Bane are characters with fully invincible, multi-hitting wake up attacks.

Same here. Doomsday can do nothing but hope to block right when knocked down in the corner against Bane.
