Can someone explain this

I just played a match against a Sonya player and basically i got stuck in some infinite from her forward BK and could not block it i was holding block the whole time after like 5 or 6 hits from it i was like wtf and ended up having to use a breaker so i ask is this a infinite or just online bullshit? Keep in mind i have only played 20 games online so far.

You do know that her f+4 is a mid, yes? It doesn't even give enough frames to combo into d+1.

If it is some glitch, I must say that I have yet to see, hear or read about it.

What happened was i got hit by a f+4 about 5 times in a row the first f+4 hit me then i blocked the rest and it didn't do shit kept getting hit by it while holding block the whole time either it's some type of infinite or the netcode in this game is really as bad as everyone is saying.

As I asked---it is a mid---so were you blocking low? The netcode IS pretty bad, but in most of my matches, I can do every offline combo online.

Including Ermac's

j.1, b+1,1,4~dash~j.4xxTP~dash~j.4xxTP, d+1xxb,f+1.

My guess is that you were blocking low.

or you were also holding down ...

Sonya's f4 staggers, guaranteeing her a jump-in. If you kept getting hit by it but insist you were blocking high, it's the netkode.
