I've played injustice a lot and i've read things that mention 'hit confirming'.
I might be totally stupid, but what does that mean?

i may be wrong but i think it means you make sure your attack actually hits before pressing the buttons for the rest of your combo. so for example if your combo was 112~df2 you would make sure your 112 hits before doing the df2

When hit confirming, a player must essentially pay attention to whether or not a given move at a certain point in the combo they are attempting to put together hits; from there, the player will know whether or not to break out of the combo and re-position themselves.

Generally, the 'confirming' move is one that is safe on block. This is necessary because that move 'confirms', via the opponent's reaction, whether or not the player should finish out the combo. An ideal confirm, if blocked, gives the player enough time to react defensively.

The end of one combo is the beginning of another
Hit Confirming is making sure your move actually hits, while you can do stuff like D1->Super. Making sure the D1 hits before the Super hits is hard to do.
Strings are really easy for confirmation, like doing 113->(unsafe) special. To hitconfirm, you'd buffer the 113 into the special (doing the joystick motion for the special) without pressing the button unless you see it hit, if it doesn't hit you don't press the button and your safe; but if you press the button when they block it, your unsafe.

To practice hitconfirming strings, you can set the AI to Random block in training mode.

I don't get it.
It's an inside thing that only he and others that were watching a stream from last week would understand. But only others that were paying attention at the time would understand.

I'm alright with him. Nothing special.

I actually don't understand. Is that a blowup? I forget how often I troll streams lol.
You were typing in all caps last Sunday in stream chat. Then a few days later, you made a post with regular punctuation and all that, so I asked you why you weren't typing in all caps anymore. I inquired if you only do it in stream chats or just Sundays.
