Does anyone else Stream Matches in Texas: Houston/Pasadena area?

Hey everyone its Jay here or the voice of this guy in these matches:

Anywho i was making a thread today because it seems like the group i usually do commentary for might be taking a short break due to important work/Job related reasons....the thing is I don't want to take a break....

"I dont want to take a break" in the sense that i would love to keep doing commentary, to grow as a better commentator and expand.

So i wanted to ask the community and people in the area if they know anyone else who streams in the Houston and or Pasadena area (San Antonio may be a stretch...but i could see what i could do)? Because i would like to apply to commentate...

I really have taken a liking to doing commentary and i want to continue to do this....it would be a big help if the community might have some tips on how I can continue and possibly point me in a direction as to how to do so.

Entertaining and getting people hype makes me happy and I enjoy seeing others entertained so i want to continue moving forward with commentating matches.

Ah bummer man, Kombat Houston Still streams from time to time, they have just gotten a bit busy with some important stuff as of late...but we still have archived vids in our youtube channel!

The US Navy said Virginia was the place I had to be and been stuck here ever since even after they gave me the boot for medical issues.

Hmm. I like that you're trying to expand. If you'd like to continue doing commentary, would you consider commentating for other games other than Injustice?
I feel like Game Guys in Pasadena needs a good commentator. They had a tourney this past week for Smash and NO ONE was on mic. I feel like they really needed someone there cuz they had Hax and Mango (2 top smash players) come down there and no one commentating the matches or to tell ppl on the stream what's going on was no good imo :/
They can prolly use commentary for when they play other games too like KI or Street Fighter maybe


And I think Insomnia VGC has other players that stream other games like Marvel or Tekken I believe. I dunno if you wanna consider asking the guys at Insomnia to see what other games do ppl stream and ask if they need commentary. Look up their tourney calendar on their site to know what games they'll be playing for each week.

Thanks for this assist man! I do play other games then Injustice (ive been playing SF4 since vanilla, ask cat..lol) and would love to do commentary for other games! If i would have known about the smash tourney i would have drove to hop on the mic!

And I totally didn't think about asking the Insomnia crew about that, i'll have to do it on our next visit.

And if you can get me in touch with the Game Guys crew in some shape or form i would be glad to travel there to commentate, plus i love going to Pasadena! How would i get in touch with the Game Guys?

Only thing is that that is also the days when Insomnia has their tournaments but i don't think anything is going down for this month for Insomnia from what i saw.

I just got finished contacting them and hopefully i will hear back from them soon! Wish me luck man...

Edit: Also had no idea they had a spectator fee as well....

Plus your in cali, there would be no way I could break into the commentary scene up there regardless of my experience...

You would have to be in the know im sure and i doubt you guys need new blood at all, i figured there were already a set group of people who do commentary in Cali. I dont think i'd have a shot up there at all anyway...
