How to do you post a picture from your desktop? Is there a way to upload it?

You mean a screenshot that you took or an image that you saved? If it's either of the two, upload them to Tinypic, copy the bottom link (the one that has .jpg at the end of it), click the "Image" icon next to the "Smilies" icon, paste the URL and BOOM. There you go.

How to do you post a picture from your desktop? Is there a way to upload it?

What I did was go to youtube, find a video with Bane, paused it, hit PrntScr on my laptop's keyboard (should be somewhere on the top row of keys), paste the image onto microsoft paint, then uploaded the picture onto tumblr so I could copy the URL.
