I literally JUST finished watching 50 episodes of Batman Beyond over the last few months for the sake of nostalgia, then I randomly catch this trending on Facebook:

I hope they reboot the series. It was one of my favorite super hero cartoons of all time. Plus, this plot would make for an excellent animated film.

I like Batman Beyond, haven't really 'watched' it more than a novel curiosity. (Well that and whenever I happened to be around when it was on.) I also watched the Joker returns movie..I think it was.

batman beyond was amazing, the only thing I didn't like was how abruptly most episodes ended, but being that it was just a 20 minute kids cartoon, they couldnt make them an hour each to stretch out the build up and climax of the episode. The setting and characters are all amazing and would fit in perfectly today if they decided to reboot it.

I wouldn't mind seeing this show go on but I will be honest here. I didn't care about many of the new villain's and was more hyped about the old school ones that showed up like Mr. Freeze, Joker (the movie) , Ra's al Ghul (Episode when Bruce turns young). Same when they had the justice league on. I wouldn't mind watching it again but I deff want the same voice talent.

Think about who Spider-Man is and what his villains are like. Now look at Terry. He's basically Spider-Man if he were Batman.

I came in with an open mind and assumed all of Bruce's foes were either dead or in a retirement home like Bane. I wasn't disappointed with the new villains. Joker clan was bottom tier though.

This show was my childhood. I would love to see a reboot. I enjoyed the new Villains they had. Can we talk about when Static Shock made a guest appearance in the show. Most of the old villains where dead. The royal flush gang was generations in. I understood what they were trying to do with the Joker's. And im glad they brought back joker in the movie. It was still pretty fucked up for a kids show. :/

There were a lot of dark elements in the show that I would not have processed as a child.
