Bro, you did MB teleport away then immediate normal teleport behind in that match up. Against Bane.
Like, you spent a bar of meter to go fullscreen then decided you'd like to be standing next to Bane at -20. Isn't a zoning character deciding to spend a bar of meter to get in on them a Bane players wet dream?
You just need to throw more stuff when you're at fullscreen. He has nothing intimidating he can do if he's at fullscreen and you throw a fireball. The best he can do is jump over or crouch it and dash in, at which point he's still far enough away that he's not in range to immediately threaten you. He still has to get around 1 more projectile or you have time to teleport/invis/trait shenanigans one more time before he can do anything
A bunch times at full screen you'll just teleport or godsmack in. When you do that there's no fireball or anything that he could be throwing out for you to punish, you're just hoping that he doesn't react right to your 45 frame move. And what's worse is that it makes it so he doesn't ever have to play your game anymore when you're doing that. There's a bunch of times when he finds himself fullscreen and he doesn't even try to get again, he just sits there blocking and you end up coming to him. You gotta try to make sure it's the Bane player getting impatient, not you.
Same thing with knockdowns from MB fireball and Axe. You almost always knock him down and go for godsmack or teleport. That's not the best way to use those knockdowns. Just keep your zoning momentum, keep him frustrated. You just pushed him back towards fullscreen, got a decent chunk of damage, and gave yourself enough advantage for a meaty fireball or an invis to make your zoning harder to react to. Don't give him the opportunity to immediately turn momentum back around.
I'd recommend trying to use trait dash cancels some more in this match up. You've kinda got the idea when you pull out the sword/axe and move it up and down a bunch before throwing, but sometimes just back dash instead of throwing it. It builds meter, which you desperately need for your zoning and helps you build space if he's respecting your zoning and just sits there(and if not respecting it he's going to eat an axe and end up fullscreen next time you pull out trait and decide not to dash cancel). You also might want to think about not using sword at the end of your combos. It can be more valuable to have another option to throw at him rather than getting that extra 2 percent at the end of a big combo.
Be careful with b13. I know you've gotta use it some(it's your only footsies tool at that range) and it's habit from other match ups to automatically use once they get in that range, but if he blocks it you just went from a safe distance where he can't hit you to being in a mixup(presuming he's got venom up) and it looks like a lot of the time he's just reading it once he gets in that range and armoring through. b1~far teleport might pretty good for this match up
Mostly though I think you just need to work on not going in. There are a few different point in that set where you get him down to a pixel or like 10% left and immediately your playstyle changes and you start throwing as much stuff as can and clearly have no intent of going in. When you go into that mode you're playing the match up perfect. I think you should be trying to play like that about 80% of the time
