Injustice is overall a very balanced game. It would be a complete miracle of game design if you were able to take a game which has several dozen unique character designs and give them all 5-5 matchups across the board. That being said...while the top 4-5 characters might be a little too strong and the bottom 5 a little weak....when it comes to the midtiers the balance is pretty incredible. It says a lot that we still can't figure out a top 10.

Is martian manhunter OP? I think so. Not unbeatable certainly, but its hard to argue he's not number 1 when you go down the list of everything he has. Also, one thing I think clearly makes the top tiers in this game objectively better than the rest of the cast is how they all control the interactible game. I'm not saying we should ban interactibles...but a lot of us know what a trap throwing things at batgirl is, or that sinking feeling when Zod goes for the chair as the phantom holds us down, or when Manhunter hits us with like 3 things all at once.

Because I read through the entirety of the argument he made, and there's actually some reason/truth in it.

While most people will obviously be distracted by the title, his point is that while there are few "bad" characters in this game, it's possible that an overlooked character like MMH could eventually run away end up dominating the top end of the cast.

He should have chosen a better title -- but whether or not you agree, it's still a valid opinion.

Its flame bait and you know it. We've had this discussion on TYM 20000 times and it never ends well, ever.

There is a difference between asking "How is Injustice balanced" and "Do you think Injustice is balanced".

I like how we were just blown up yesterday and called morons when Astronout beat Jupiter, then he beats the final round champion pretty convincingly and only drops one game in top 8.

People need to stop making broad implications based off specific matches and online ft10's. There is no doubt for me that MMH is the best character in the game. I think he's manageable by a lot of characters, but when we act like 5-5's are hard counters it shows you how good he is.

MMH is top 1-2, I get it. But he has only won 2-3 majors out of god knows how many. You cant possibly say he is messing with the balance that much, at least not yet.

Jupiter has won a lot but he has also lost quite a few times, so obviously MMH isn't unbeatable. And if people admit that he isnt on Kabal's level, I dont know why there are these discussions since we obviously are not going to ban him.

To address this continually retarded debate; If the rise of the Manhunter was imminent, we would have seen it by now. REO and Jupiter would've started winning months ago when the character wasn't even fully understood and it would have only gotten worse over time. Instead, the only people marching through tournaments with MMH are people who are commited to the character and his playstyle. Which is no different from the dominante with the other 7 or 8 characters which make up the top 5.

Injustice is pretty fucking balanced. Better than most games with casts this large. It has a top tier, yes, but every boogeyman is beatable and (barring some more insane glitches like pushblock or invisible bola) if this is the game we're stuck with from now until eternity, the future looks pretty bright.
