NRS people are bashing KI? That sucks. I really like watching KI.

Not a lot of competitive Spinal players.

Tyrant does very well with him here, but besides that you rarely see him in a tournament setting. I think in a month or two there will be more top Spinal players out there competing, and overcoming the learning curve the character has.

Do u feel spinal is worth the curve ?

Props to all the Injustice players that constantly cry about Capcom elitism and also constantly bash Killer Instinct, when Killer Instincts balance and neutral game are infinitely better than anything Injustice has to offer. Much props.

Not hard to claim more balance when you have all of 7-8 characters. I think KI looks really cool and would love to play it, but I'm not gonna drop $500+ on a single incomplete game.

Pretty much no one is good at a high level with him yet, there's only 2 players that main him online that are pretty damn good with him and they don't attend tournaments. He really is one of the more complex characters because of his skull mechanic and slow normals. Watch videos online of Khoalski and it'll show how Spinal sort of should be played.

As for me I really enjoy both games, I think KI is a more mentally demanding game because of the breaking system however I feel Injustice is way more hype than KI in its current state. The bashing goes both ways just like some NRS players bash KI, some KI players bash Injustice as soon as they hear the name. It's sad that people have to make the assumption that that specific person bashing a game = the rest of that community. I really hope eventually everyone can come in terms with the games and help them grow.

The KI Dojo is really good for learning it. I wish they would allow you to go through it with characters besides Jago but if there can be only one he is a good pick. The Prima Guide is really good as well and keeps getting updated with DLC.

The training mode is decent but lacks some things Inj has like opponent wakeup options.

Sure thing sir, we can learn Fulgore together! Like LOWCASH said the dojo is a good place to get started to get a feel of the mechanics then you can just keep going as you move forward, if there's something you don't get I'll be happy to help you out with it.

When you start playing people online, I suggest starting in exhibition mode where you can find people your own level until it starts feeling natural then you can move on to higher level ranges or ranked.

The game gets really fun once you get to it and the netcode makes it very enjoyable, glad you're playing again.

He's legal. He's tough to use. Tyrant and Khaolski are the best spinal players I have seen and they haven't been traveling to tournaments much recently.

I got an X1 about 2 months ago and I absolutly love KI. I have been playing ranked just to unlock the cool colors =)

Anyways, i'm fairly new to the game, and I would love to play some of you guys. Add "Deftonesrc" and lets play!
I'm rarely on this site anymore; I just cant get onboard with the general attitude that TYM has recently adopted. Its so negative. I remember seeing a trailer for KI and when I came on here it was constant bashing. This isnt a KI exclusive either. . K.Tanch suggested doing a season 3 for MK legacy and people complain. . . I just got tired of nobody being happy about anything. So now I just listen to KTP and ignore the forums. . . and then DH closed theirs =(

So anyway, feel free to play me sometime and possible teach me something =)

Yeah, that's just not a fair comparison when balancing 30 characters compared to 8 especially when 22 seem viable.

You've come across encyclopedic in the short qoute up there. (Breaker Theory, Combo Structure) My curiosity is piqued. I play KI on my Xbox One, so I am intimately familiar with its mechanics. However, you sound like you may be onto something deep in a academic sense of it all.

With respect to @AK Pig Of The Hut don't wait. Just open up a thread and share what's on your mind. Let's all partake in the theory crafting.

Does anybody know how to search archive twitch footage in the "ios apps" or "Xbox one app" (not PC) I wonder why twitch makes it so difficult to find it or, if such options do not exist for the versions I mentioned, that makes no sense.

The netcode is actually unreal, i'm not bashing Injustice but that was the main reason I dropped it for KI as we have no fight scene where I live for offline play, and online play at least for me was horrendous at best.

I knew MyGOD would catch heat after this tournament. Not only for getting blown up in grand finals but the teabagging.

Being blown up is one thing. It's evident that balrog is on his own level with his orchid. I cannot give MG that type of mu experience which hurt pretty bad in grand finals. On the flip side balrog knows the wolf mu and it showed. He punished everything and got into his head.

Will always catch feelings over it. But other than trying to get into someone's head there was no real disrespect between players here. We all had a ton of respect for zaith and he has a great jago lol. Plus I can attest there was a lot of t bags going on in pools up to top 8.

I don't care for igau same as mygod. But it's on the record most of us will still support the game offline and pot monster with no time spent training. We don't hate Nrs just don't care for the particular mechanic system. You can bash ki I don't care. But it's odd to bash something and turn around and bash a player for disliking your game when that player supports it. And you haveyet to try their game.

Anyway the whole event was hype. If it's boring you may not appreciate footsies and reads as much. When u start understanding the risk in counterbreaking and meta involved you will be hype for it.

Shout outs to everyone I pplayed in tournament and casuals. Congrats to rog for doing it with orchid and props to the capcom community for not being Hollywood.
