the commentators were so biased they were like mygod is the best killer instinct player in the world then pr rog 6-0s him and the crowd is all quiet lol it was def a hype tournament though

Jeez, why KI gets so much disdain on these forums I'll never understand lol. I guess everyone suffered memory loss back when mk9 was taking heavy heat as well.

As far as KI goes, I really enjoyed top 8. The game has a traditional footsie game as far as I can see, so I have a general understanding on what's going on, despite not having the game. Just really good matches overall, and was glad to see PR Rog take it. Really wish MyGod could have put up a better fight though, but it seemed PR Rog just was on top of his game that day.

Not a lot of competitive Spinal players.

Tyrant does very well with him here, but besides that you rarely see him in a tournament setting. I think in a month or two there will be more top Spinal players out there competing, and overcoming the learning curve the character has.

All but 1 of the individuals whose posts got deleted on account of KI trolling were around during MK9 times.

I'm not a fan of KI myself, just due to personal gripes from watching (wanted to play, but things I saw turned me off from the game). But I'm not for throwing the game through the mud.

I like Injustice... but there's just far too much bullshit on that game, along with all other NRS games. I dropped Injustice like a bad habit as soon as I picked up KI.

Pretty much no one is good at a high level with him yet, there's only 2 players that main him online that are pretty damn good with him and they don't attend tournaments. He really is one of the more complex characters because of his skull mechanic and slow normals. Watch videos online of Khoalski and it'll show how Spinal sort of should be played.

As for me I really enjoy both games, I think KI is a more mentally demanding game because of the breaking system however I feel Injustice is way more hype than KI in its current state. The bashing goes both ways just like some NRS players bash KI, some KI players bash Injustice as soon as they hear the name. It's sad that people have to make the assumption that that specific person bashing a game = the rest of that community. I really hope eventually everyone can come in terms with the games and help them grow.

Oh I've been watching Khoalski. Guy has me jaw dropping while watching. I'm working towards that. He is all over YouTube and is super entertaining.

For sure! I've played KI recently more than Injustice (Cause KI netcode is godlike) and I still suck at it lol. After I lost ToFTC yesterday I'm hanging my gloves with Glacius and picking up Fulgore hoping it works out better with him. Add Kinetic Orochi thou!
